The Official Thread Dedicated to "Trump Winning"

Threre is a fundamental misconception about how this works. The security clearance isn't useful or important for those retired officials no longer serving the government, but for the current CIA/FBI agencies to be able to tap into the wealth of knowledge and experience these former officials have. It provides critically important continuity in counter intelligence and strategic issues that bridge over the 4-year terms of various governments and presidencies. Brennan was CIA head when we took down Bin Laden, Stzork one of our most knowledgable and experienced anti-espionage experts. Ridding these officials from the fabric of government and how it has operated for decades is a huge shot in the foot for this country. Putin for sure is overjoyed. All over the fragile ego of a panicked president on the run from the law.

Just goes to show what a gigantic dumbass Trump is that he thinks this will somehow keep the likes of Brennan, Comey, Hayden from criticizing him. All the while weakening US foreign intelligence capabilites in the process. Furcking idiot, I'm sorry, it has to be said.

I realize this is the reason given by those opposed to what Trump is doing, just wondering how true it is, and how often these former employees are tapped for their knowledge of the past.

And it certainly won't keep them from criticizing the President, as the media will go out of their way to broadcast their comments.

Defending Peter Strzok. Tibs, the man was corrupt and compromised. Trump didn't fire him. The FBI did. So you should probably aim your criticism there.

When the President doesn't trust you, you should lose your clearance immediately. Nothing else needs to come into play. This is not an issue.

History Channel’s ‘Ancient Aliens’ Outperforms CNN In Primetime

CNN tanked in the cable ratings between August 6 and August 12, losing out to Fox News, MSNBC, and even the History Channel show Ancient Aliens, according to the latest data from Nielsen Media Research.

The primetime lineup for the History Channel includes the show Ancient Aliens, while CNN’s lineup features hosts Anderson Cooper and Chris Cuomo.

The History Channel had 1.06 million viewers in primetime this week. CNN’s competitors, Fox News and MSNBC, defeated CNN handily in the ratings war this week. Fox News took the number one slot for primetime viewership at 2.18 million viewers, and MSNBC came in second with 1.75 million viewers.

They say that Anderson Cooper and Shep Smith are butt buddies.

Well, ok, I said that. But I bet it's true.

“WE’RE NOT GOING TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, IT WAS NEVER THAT GREAT.” Can you believe this is the Governor of the Highest Taxed State in the U.S., Andrew Cuomo, having a total meltdown!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 16, 2018

I hope Cuomo runs for pres. He can't walk that back.

There is nothing that I would want more for our Country than true FREEDOM OF THE PRESS. The fact is that the Press is FREE to write and say anything it wants, but much of what it says is FAKE NEWS, pushing a political agenda or just plain trying to hurt people. HONESTY WINS!

THE FAKE NEWS MEDIA IS THE OPPOSITION PARTY. It is very bad for our Great Country....BUT WE ARE WINNING!

Politics aside, I don't see why anyone who no longer works for the government should have a security clearance and the accompanying access.

GOP senator: Ex-CIA chief John Brennan a 'butthead' who doesn't need a security clearance

Washington (CNN) Sen. John Kennedy defended President Donald Trump's decision to revoke John Brennan's security clearance and called the former CIA director a "butthead" who doesn't need the clearance.

"I think most Americans look at our national intelligence experts as being above politics. Mr. Brennan has demonstrated that that's not the case. He's been totally political. I think I called him a 'butthead' and I meant it. I think he's given the national intelligence community a bad name," the Louisiana Republican told CNN's Manu Raju in an interview Wednesday.

Kennedy added, "I don't see why he would need a security clearance, I really don't."

Sen. Richard Shelby on Wednesday similarly downplayed the President's decision and questioned why former high-ranking officials would maintain security clearances once they have left government service.

Yes Lyn, I know exactly what a banana republic is. A country where despots go after and strong arm political opponents, try to intmidate and sway the media and diminsh and subvert oversight over their dubious activities. Trump hits all the checkmarks. Have a nice day.

Do you know the economic status of those countries? Surely you don't think America is THAT poor, do you?

Read all about it! Trump's 'enemy of the people' strike back. A beautiful sight to see, indeed. Editorials are all linked in, feel free to read them all, while you can.

What years would you consider America "Great"? Americans have done great things, but the country as a whole seems to be a work in progress.

Yesterdays news cycle actually makes you wonder where we are at as a country: Colorado man kills his pregnant wife and two daughters, 70 plus die of drug overdose in a park,
revelations of priests molesting over a thousand kids in PA. That's just part of one day news cycle.

24-hours news, 21. Believe me on this. The 24-hours news monster needs to be fed.

Or do you think murder and molestation did not occur in 1104, or 912 B.C., or 1645??

And what genuinely bothers me is the fact that the media seem intent on predicting disaster for America - economic disaster, foreign policy disaster, monetary disaster, unmitigated horrors!!

While ignoring the fact that the United States is not at war, the economy is booming, tariff battles seem to be having the desired effect (lower tariffs by foreign nations on U.S. goods). Where did you hear the following from any of the "woe is me" editorial staffs?

Economists expected hiring to slow in 2018 because a tight labor market—consistent with a sub-4% unemployment rate—would make it difficult for businesses to find workers. The opposite has occurred, largely due to a resurgence in two categories that had been contracting, retail and manufacturing. Through July, U.S. employers added an average of 215,000 jobs a month to payrolls. That is a marked acceleration from the 184,000 jobs added on average during the first seven months last year. And, well above the 165,000 average monthly employment growth economists surveyed by The Wall Street Journal predicted for 2018 when asked in January.

One big reason is after shedding an average of 6,000 jobs a month during the first seven months of 2017, retailers added an average of 12,000 each month this year. An increase in consumer spending, driven by rising incomes and strong confidence, is causing some retailers to expand.

https://www.wsj.com/articles/stores-factories-lead-this-years-unexpected-hiring-boom-1533481200

Look at that ... hey, 21, didn't you predict that the economy could not grow due to the full employment we are experiencing, i.e., unemployment low = bad thing?

Will wonders never cease - the labor market ticked up because previously downtrodden industries, including manufacturing,[SUP]1[/SUP] are booming.

[SUP]1[/SUP] "Those jobs, they're not coming back. Well, at least until I'm gone ..."

And what genuinely bothers me...
The only thing that seems to bother you guys is.....Trump not getting enough credit for good numbers on the economy. Nothing else, not corruption, not conspiracy w a hostile nation, not attacks on our institutions, on our press, on women or on minorities. No problem with a president lying day after day, week after week. All that seems to matter to you in this big, wide world are the latest economic figures. Not sure how you got to this point in life, but I certainly wouldn't want to see things through your lenses. A remarkably narrow view.

The only thing that seems to bother you guys is.....Trump not getting enough credit for good numbers on the economy. .

Have you been living under a rock.

What bothers me the most is how the last administration **** on the Constitution, and the entire dishonest MSM refuses to cover it. And how the Democrats know of the crimes, and yet make covering it up priority one. Disgraceful.

WINNING!

Senate confirms two more circuit judges after Flake lifts blockade

The Senate confirmed two more appeals court judges Thursday, continuing to make progress on President Trump’s goal of revamping the federal judiciary after a maverick Republican dropped his blockade.

Sen. Jeff Flake earlier this summer had halted progress on judges, staging a protest over President Trump’s trade policies

The latest two to earn full Senate approval were A. Marvin Quattlebaum Jr. and Julius N. Richardson, both of whom will sit on the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. Judge Quattlebaum was confirmed on a 62-28 vote, while Mr. Richardson was cleared by an 81-8 margin.

Stop living in the past. You can't go back in time and fix things that are no longer there, real or perceived. It also causes intense blurred vision when it comes to present day reality. Just trying to help you out, man.
