Talk about LeVeon Bell in one place

I know there are many here say it is business and welcome him back with wide arms. But aren't you surprised that the Rooney's don't stand up now and remember there are 52 players in that locker room who have done what is asked in preseason, that Bell is thumbing his nose at, as well as the Steeler organization. I don't know how any of the Steeler Nation can except Bell's action when we know he does not want to be here. Take all the emotion of winning and stats and he is great out of it and look at his actions up to now and will continue till he leaves. What difference does it make where he goes and when, applaud the players we have not one who feels he runs the show.

I do not think Dan Rooney or Chuck Noll would tolerate Bell's antics at this point in time.

Le'Veon Bell doesn't report to 9 AM meetings

It's not a good sign for Bell's playing status for Week 1 against the Browns. It's tough to envision coach Mike Tomlin throwing Bell out there if he misses part of the practice week, which starts today, especially after being away from the team all summer. James Conner is looking like he'll get the nod right now. Bell has until Saturday afternoon to report in order to get paid for Week 1.

Dude’s agent is dumber than he is. What a F’ing shitshow.

I hope they do use the roster exemption.

I would not put it past Bell to report and sign an hour before the deadline on Saturday, meaning he wont play in the opener, and will only have to play 15 regular season games, and spare his body the wear and tear

Well, I wouldn’t put it past the Steelers to use the two week roster exemption and deactivate him for two games. Games which he won’t be paid.

I’m sorry but as I posted last week I saw this coming. Knowing who we are dealing with this should not come as a surprise. The guy is very much out of touch with reality in today’s world and the NFL. This is the same guy that turned down not one but two lucrative contracts that would have set him up for life.
I think he will continue on this path for multiple games hoping the team rescinds the tag so he can be free to negotiate with new team. Been his plan all along. Now the question, will the Steelers flinch and pull the tag?
**** him! Keep it on him until he finally decides to report. See what our RB situation is when he does report then go from there.

Cool, we just signed the eldest Edmunds brother to our practice squad, further solidifying the RB corps.

Standing in at 6’0 225 pounds, size for a back the Steelers like, he impressed at his 2017 Pro Day workout, running a 4.48 and jumping 35 inches in the vertical. He signed with the Saints as a UDFA in 2017.

Listening to SiriusXM today and Bell was a hot topic. They all admitted he is the best all around back. BUT, they also all agree like most of us, him wanting $8 Million more then the highest paid RB in the league is insane. How dumb is his agent and who will want to sign him in the offseason with his demands. Also brought up was the fact of one hot piss test and he is gone for a year, his social media and rapping. He bring a lot of baggage, talented as hell though. Reminds me of when Jimmy Graham wanted to be paid like a WR instead of a TE, didn't work out to well for him. Gurley is said to have broke the bank and still nowhere near what Bell thinks he should get

And if he sits out 8/9 games. Will he lose something in the process?

You never know....

**** Bell! The sooner he's gone, the better.

I'm starting to think Bell may have suffered an off-season injury, so he's laying low for now. He does have to pass the team physical before he signs his tag. I fail to see the logic in his actions for any other reason.

or he can't pass the drug test or he is listening to too many people of how to save his body for the big payday. . .

And I thought Mendenhall was a head case... Bell now makes Plaxico look like a MENSA member.

Excellent points.

Don't take Bell's word for it. He lied to the coaches and fans about failing a drug test on 4-20. As far as I care, he and Bryant can smoke all the weed they want in Asia.

Seems crazy to me that he can show up on Saturday and get the full week's pay!

His nose is still growing. Guess he thinks NFL owners don't ever hang or talk together. It will be interesting to see which team gives him the big payday once he's labeled 'trouble'.

**** LeVeon Bell. I'm done with this piece of ****! Put himself before the team shows you he's a me first type of player!

Well WAAAAAHHHHHHH LeVeon.....I hope my Steelers trade your *** to some **** *** team before the trade deadline! HELLO JETS! HELLO BILLS!! COME AND GET HIM!!!

They are wrong, his next failed test is a 4 game suspension.

Of course not. The salary cap AND franchise tag didn't exist during Noll's era...

Here’s a thought: When Peyton Manning decided to stay at Tennessee for his senior year, his family took out an insurance policy covering him should he suffer a career ending injury and never cash in on the NFL. For the money Bell will lose, even if it’s one game, he could take out one hell of an insurance policy given the short term of coverage. So either he and his agent are idiots, or his hold out has nothing to do with the possibility of being injured.

This quote unfortunately is where I am at in my life & it applies here for Bell. Time to move on
