I see in a PPG article that they won't take Jordy Nelson lightly. In keeping with our defensive philosophy against the Chargers and to turn a game against a 2 - 10 Raider team into a nailbiter, which of our LBs will line up against Jordy?

retardly they will tell watt to drop back and chase jordy the only lb capable of chasing him mt wont dress mt, would love if ola dresses again, they cant go 2-4-5 and live either seth Roberts or cook open in the slot with a free release.

they need to do this de hargrave dt heyward de tuitt lb watt mlb fort olb Dupree rover Edmunds cb haden s ddavis s burnett if he can get out of the hot tub and off the duce staley sweatpants

The punter will cover him. That's the super double secret x weapon they're just waiting to release on offense.

My brother in law used to coach at Utah. He coached Chris Kemoeatu and, as he is a Steeler fan, Chris used to hook him up regularly with tickets etc.

Anyway, he's usually pretty analytic about stuff the coaches do. He understands Xs and Os far better than I do and he can identify different facets of the line play etc. that I can't even begin to track. All that said, he was livid after the Chargers game. He could not comprehend the moves that were made from a defensive point of view. He was instantly calling for Tomlin's head. Wants to promote Munchak. (My problem there is, Munchak is so good with the line - you lose that if you promote him. What keeps the offensive line moving forward?)

There was some speculation a while back when Ben said you have to respect Munchak as he played in the NFL has the gold jacket. Something close to that. Was that a shot as another coach? If promoted to head coach, Munchak can still coach the offensive line. Many of the top head coaches control a portion of the offense or defense. I don't see why Munchak can't be the head coach, and in charge of the offensive line at the same time. Tomlin is a fool, your brother in law is right.

There is no doubt about Mike Munchak's credibility. That said he has assistant O Line coaches who also be are learning from a HOFer also.
Art the Deuce is the one who gets to end the smoke ' mirrors sideshow.

Meh, dont waste spit talking about the D, as long as Ben gets us 40 pts we should be good, lol

Problem is we've only gone over 40 twice this season and we've lost a 30 point game.

Link please.

In all probability he was talking about the context of his line measuring up to their HOF position coach. Ben heaps praise to the OL constantly. Pure speculation on your part as to the comments were a slap towards the coaching staff. More agenda driven narrative.

With Coach Mitch retiring or going to the FO after this year, Munch will be the Asst HC.

For the sake of MANY MANY members of this board, I truly hope CMVLT does NOT use a consistant LB approach to covering Jordi. Blood Pressure medication would be a National Shortage at that time. Pittsburgh Dad would have more than enough to say to be speechless and last but least, Coach just may NOT start a new thread on topic.

Salute the nation

It’s not like Jordy is a speed demon but I would let Fort cover him if you’re going to put a LBer on him.
