If it came dowm to a trade what would you need? I suppose this comes down to how much you blame AB for the steelers dysfunction. If you think he's a cancer then you will take almost anything. If you think he's a minor nuisance and he can be saved then it would take a ransom to part with him.

So what would it take?

Check all that you would accept.

I can't vote, so I'll state here.... I would be very happy with Peterson in a trade and then be very happy if management could persuade Fitzgerald to finish his career back in Pittsburgh! Even playing with a floundering rookie QB in a terribly coached offense, on a terribly coached team that he's got plenty left in the tank. The D would be better (imagine Haden/Peterson as our CB's!!!) and Fitz would demand enough attention that Juju could continue his development without facing extra coverage. Hopefully Washington progresses and with Peterson on board, a day 1 or 2 pick could be used on another WR... hopefully with the character and potential that comes with Juju???

The gravy would be that AB gets to see what it's like to play for a non-HOF QB in a rebuilding offense!!!

I voted for all but the last. Sorry but he quit on the team and as talented as he I just think he will be too big a distraction going forward. I'd rather move on with less talented guys willing to lay it on the line for their team mates.

Two ones, a second, third and a fifth rounder.

Two firsts. One this year and next. Or let’s say a high 2nd this, and their first next year. Say GB who has two firsts this year and we all know mr stash needs help

Let me add this. Let’s see how things really are as time goes by but they don’t look good. That said, I’m tired of winey ******* getting there way and getting out of here with no compensation in return/fair compensation.

If we don’t get multiple top picks, **** it. Sit his ***, we got him for a couple years. Let him do sit ups in his driveway

From everything I'm reading we need to trade him between March 13 and March 17, so I want picks this year, I'd be happy with a 1 and 2. The guy doesn't want to be here and cost a huge chunk of change, move on from that, but I'm trading to an NFC team.

I can't see us getting two first rounders for a 31 year old diva WR (he turns 31 in July), however I hope we find out. I'll take whatever the market bears. Steelers are a punchline. Sick of it.

Shhh remember This board thought they would get multiple ones for leveon when in reality they got zero offers

I'd be grateful if they cut ties with him ASAP and no other teams hired him. Maybe he could find work as a carpet installer and use that weird *** kicking motion he uses for his touchdown dance when he's installing a new roll of shag

at 31 years old, I would hope for a 1st. I would settle for a 3rd and $$$$ against our cap hit if you can do that

Yeah, you ain't getting multiple 1sts, IMO.

I want a player i already know is good in the NFL. Unless it is a high enough 1st that we can get a "cant fail" defensive player, i dont want to lose that kind of a talent for another hope. I suppose, even if it is not a high first, we could use it to trade up.

then I don't trade him, I suspend him. No value no thank you.

If you do that, then you're paying a guy 22 against the cap who will undoubtedly not give full effort once reinstated.

Then I suspend him again, for more games. The team has the power to ruin his career, I would be like **** with me see what happens...

You and I know so far he has received hand slaps.

That's why I trade him to a team with no QB. Rid ourselves of the drama and distraction and get something in return, instead of using a big part of my cap on him sitting and causing problems.

The difference between he and Harrison is that Harrison was aged and knew he'd just get released free to go where he wants. With AB, we aren't going to release him, but trade him, we can control where he goes.

ARII has to take control on this situation and team again. Trade him, suspend him, whatever they feel is necessary, but the iron fist has to come down. AB is an employee. A talented employee, but should be under the same rules as player #53 to your best player. The inmates cannot run the asylum.

Yep and the bigger issue that came out is that AB has missed other walk throughs and practices this season, so it's been allowed to continue.

All of these options are below market value for a HOFer. I stated this in another thread:

He's not a 1 first round draft pick trade. AB is a GOAT. It's like trading Rice in his prime. What team wouldn't give everything to get a Rice in his prime? This can possibly be played like the Hershel Walker trade. Walker was a HOFer, and a GOAT at the time for RBs, Dallas parlayed that trade into 3 superbows. Minimum that I would take for AB is 3 1sts. 1 first for a pro bowler, 2 firsts for a franchise player, 3 firsts for a HOFer/GOAT. That is intelligent market value for AB.

You guys can start coming at me on feasibility, and age, but keep in mind. Jerry Rice's best seasons were his 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th years, then continued to play another 9 seasons. Rice made it this far because of his insane work ethic and was a workout warrior. AB is of the same mold. He works his *** off to be the best, and I won't say he'll be in the league for another 10 years, but I'm confident he can be an elite receiver for the next 5 years. That merits a mega-contract.

None of your choices. I'd be looking for at least a top 10 pick in round 1 and the same in round 2. This te m needs a top 10 pick and bad if we are going to rebuild with any success. So far picking where we have been, it has been hit or miss and almost all misses at CB.

Spot-on and wait until its discovered that he has lost a second half-step.
