REPORT: White House Preparing Draft National Emergency Order to Include $7 Billion For Border Wall
The White House is drafting an emergency order to include $7 billion for the border wall according to a new report by CNN.
The President is planning on pulling money from the Pentagon’s budget citing Title 10 of the US Code.
The White House is preparing a draft proclamation for President Donald Trump to declare a national emergency along the southern border and has identified more than $7 billion in potential funds for his signature border wall should he go that route, according to internal documents reviewed by CNN.
“The massive amount of aliens who unlawfully enter the United States each day is a direct threat to the safety and security of our nation and constitutes a national emergency,” a draft of a presidential proclamation reads.
“Now, therefore, I, Donald J. Trump, by the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including the National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C 1601, et seq.), hereby declare that a national emergency exists at the southern border of the United States,” the draft adds.
The draft was updated as recently as last week, a US government official told CNN.

that better be tighter than a duck's *******.
Hard to believe he would acquiesce on both this and the state of the union. If nothing else he know how to negotiate a deal, this isn't over by a long shot.

I get that the national emergency thing is a negotiating tactic, but I don't think the Dems are gonna buckle to it. He might as well go ahead and get busy on declaring that national emergency. IMHO it is the only way the wall is getting built.

I agree with this. The dems are going to do everything they can including taking him to court to keep the wall from being built. He might as well go ahead and do it to speed up the process.

Before we build a wall and lock everyone in, shouldn't Trump and other employers be required to fire all their undocumented workers
and pay for them to self deport? If there were a dozen at this one golf course, there have to be many more at other Trump
courses and properties. Shouldn't Trump be encouraging other businesses to self audit and fire the undocumented?.

I enjoy Trump's tweets for basically one reason - the conniptions thrown by leftists in response.
For decades, leftists knew they could say anything - ANYTHING - they wanted about a conservative, and damn near anything they wanted about Republicans in general without risk of a reply, and now for the first time, they are getting it back in kind. Their unbridled, unhinged, shrill, shrieking, harpy-like whining in response is an absolute pleasure.

I like the idea of him tweeting for the very same reasons except I so wish he was more articulate and witty. I cringe because he speaks like an 8 yr. old at times.
There's things he misses that would nail liberals and Democrats to the wall. He needs create a new position for a Tweed advisor.

I cringe because he talks like an 8 year old, but also because he is insulting. I mean, God forbid someone disagree with him. He apparently doesn't realize where he is because in Washington DC, it is a guarantee that about half the people are ALWAYS going to disagree with him. So his answer is to call names and insult people. It's beneath him and the office. I still wish someone would take his twitter account away.

The U.S. Department of Energy has started making a new, low-yield nuclear weapon designed to counter Russia. The new weapon is designed to be launched on a ballistic missile fired from a submarine.
The National Nuclear Security Administration says production of the weapon, known as the W76-2, has begun at its Pantex Plant in the Texas Panhandle. The fact that the weapon was under production was first shared in an e-mail to the Exchange Monitor, an industry trade magazine, and independently confirmed by NPR.
The weapon is a variant of the Navy's primary submarine-launched nuclear weapon, the W76-1. That warhead is a "strategic weapon," meaning it makes a very big boom. The W76-1 is believed to have a yield of around 100 kilotons, according to Hans Kristensen, director of the nuclear information project at the Federation of American Scientists, an arms control advocacy group. By contrast, the bomb dropped on Hiroshima had a yield of about 15 kilotons.
The Energy Department would not provide details about the W76-2, but it's believed to have a yield of around 5 to 7 kilotons, Kristensen says.

I hear similar things from various places, but when I listen to Trump talk I hear a very clear communicator. Looking for examples where he speaks like an 8yr.old.
