Those were AMC cars, Indy. I think it is Pinto

What the **** is that? Initially I thought it was a Pinto...but the car name between the taillights doesn't appear to say "Ford"

Mustang II. Made from 1974 to 1978.

Ugh, just looked up the Mustang II from those years, you're absolutely right.

I believe the pinto was the exploding gas tank vehicle of the 70's.

It was. I also remember something about a $30 part would have fixed it. I might be wrong on the cost but it wasn't much.

What a garbage dump

DOJ says it won't prosecute Barr, Ross after House criminal contempt vote

The Department of Justice said Wednesday that federal prosecutors will not prosecute Attorney General William Barr and Commerce Secretary William Ross, after the House voted to hold the officials in contempt for failing to comply with congressional subpoenas.

“The Department of Justice’s long-standing position is that we will not prosecute an official for contempt of Congress for declining to provide information subject to a presidential assertion of executive privilege,” Deputy Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen wrote in a letter to Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).

I had a 78 Mustang II it was a good looking car. ran like **** with the little 4 cylinder but looked better than most of the mid 80's versions. Although mine was the full trunk not the hatch back. It looked like this except white and no sunroof or the girl.19782.jpg

AG Barr orders reinstatement of the federal death penalty

Attorney General William Barr has ordered the reinstatement of the federal death penalty after a 16-year pause, the Department of Justice announced Thursday.

Barr also directed the Federal Bureau of Prisons to schedule the executions of five death-row inmates convicted of murder, the Justice Department said in a news release.

'In God We Trust' going up at South Dakota public schools

RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) — When students return to public schools across South Dakota this fall, they should expect to see a new message on display: "In God We Trust."

A new state law that took effect this month requires all public schools in the state's 149 districts to paint, stencil or otherwise prominently display the national motto.

The South Dakota lawmakers who proposed the law said the requirement was meant to inspire patriotism in the state's public schools.

The Cobra II was a stripe and decal package option on the Mustang II.
At least in my part of the country Mustang II's rusted out pretty fast from the road salt and after about 1985 you never saw one.
