Holton signed to 53, Tuzar Skipper released??

What I dont understand is Skipper said he loves ST and asked to play, but he barely even got a shot there in the preseason. Just stupid coaching moves all around. There are plenty of other guys who could have been cut
 
Seems like a very dumb, nonsensical move. Yeah there are like 5 other players I would have cut first.
 
I guess the Cheats are going to get Skipper to.
 
If something happened to Hargraves you still have Alluallu or Buggs. Hell you could pick up Mccullers at the YMCA

Holton to the 53 is fine.. but Skipper is a gamble I did not want to take.. I’m clinging to hope that teams don’t want roster shifts within 24 hours of kickoff... praying..
 
On a more positive note, with waivers being a 24 hour claim window.. there has been 3 hours eclipsed since the move was posted by the Steelers for public knowledge..

Based off that, only 21 hours to go!
 
I was just sitting here wondering how long we'd have to wait to see if he clears waivers, then he can be put on ps.

Why not Matekavich or Chickillo? Would have though Skipper showed enough upside to keep him.

It's infuriating, especially after watching the video of the elation on the guy's face b/c he made it. You don't waive pass rushers, you waive 3rd string TEs that are already on the bubble. I'm with ya, this one sucks if he gets picked up.

So I'm hearing through the grapevine that Oakland was sniffing around (now that they lost AB and apparently know Holton), so they jumped to put him on the active roster, and also said he'll be gunner on STs. Still, they could've sent someone else down to the PS.
 
And gentry is still on thebteam
