The Official Thread Dedicated to "Trump Winning"

The most embarrassing thing about Trump is how he consistently lies and proclaims proven falsehoods, sometimes on an hourly basis. It's been that way forever. It's something you'd expect from the dictator of a banana republic, or the head of a military junta. Certainly not from an American president and the leader of the free world. Every time Trump opens his mouth, any sane American should cringe in shame. How did we allow this to happen, to elect a deranged buffoon to represent this great nation? It's like we scraped the bottom of the barrel, found the least competent person in a land of 300+ million people, and handed him the keys to the oval office. It's a damn shame.

Preliminary count: Trump made at least 21 false claims in his three exchanges with reporters beside Trudeau, Macron and Stoltenberg today.

No, the Dow wasn’t at 15,000 or 16,000 when Trump was elected or took office. No, South Korea didn’t increase its troop payments to the US by $500 million. No, Trump doesn’t have a 95% Republican approval rating. No, the record isn’t Ronald Reagan at “87.”

No, the US wasn’t without ammunition. No, most ISIS prisoners in Syria aren’t from Europe. No, Zelensky didn’t tell Time that Trump “did nothing wrong.” No, Trump isn’t being denied a lawyer at tomorrow’s hearing. No, China hasn’t lost $32 trillion.

No, Trump didn’t predict Brexit the day before. No, the US didn’t perpetually lose at the WTO before Trump took office. No, ISIS didn’t control 100% of its caliphate when Trump took office. No, NATO spending wasn’t declining before Trump took office.

Only a liberal would offer those twits as validation.

Another good article this morning that spells out the precise direction that this impeachment farce is headed.

Nancy, painfully aware that the Democrat base had been screaming for impeachment for some time, was fooled, and relented. I’m sure neither her nor Schiff anticipated Trump releasing the transcript of his conversation with Volodomir Zelensky -- especially so soon after they initiated the latest iteration of their impeachment hoax.

It was too late; they had already jumped.

Well, now, it’s either excrete or vacate the commode.

Their choices are limited:

They can impeach the president and send the matter to trial in the Senate, where chances of success in the Republican-controlled upper chamber are zero. In addition, having a trial with actual rules giving the president due process will likely boost Trump’s public support, while forcing the 31 Democrats from districts won by Trump in 2016 to go on the record, probably costing some, if not many, their seats. Perhaps even costing Pelosi her majority and guaranteeing Trump’s reelection.

They can drop impeachment and censure the president. This will anger her base, who will accept nothing less than impeachment, perhaps convincing many to stay home next November – potentially costing Nancy her gavel and giving Trump four more years.

They can drop the entire thing and live to fight another day as they await the election. While this is probably their best course of action, it is the one they are least likely to choose because of their aforementioned base and, well… Orange Man Bad.

It should be fun to watch.

LOL...

Upon Sen. Harris’s departure from presidential pursuits, Donald Trump took the time to chime in.

In his usual style, he bid her adieu:

Too bad. We will miss you Kamala! https://t.co/QQd9SiFc0y

9:45 AM:

"There must never be a narrowly-voted impeachment or an impeachment substantially supported by one of our major political parties and largely opposed by the other.”

"Such an impeachment would lack legitimacy."

Good point, Chairman Nadler. pic.twitter.com/wlrxXb2Aji

The only way they have a snowballs chance in hell to get what they want is to string this along until after the election, and hope they control both houses of Congress.

I don't see that happening without a lot of lost ballots showing up.

It will take years to regain our standing on the world stage.
Seeing as how the U.S. is the recognized world leader economically and militarily. Probably not a big deal. Indeed, if the U.S. wanted to renegotiate some trade practices with Canada and some European countries, we could probably pull a "China" and tell them we want to increase import taxes while reducing our export tariffs unless they want to deal with some other nearby economical powerhouse for their trade goods.

How did we allow this to happen, to elect a deranged buffoon to represent this great nation?
In a nutshell? The democrats put forward the most unelectable candidate since Hitler. And now they're following up with a bunch of Mussolini clones...

Other countries need to worry about their standing with us, not the other way around. One of the reasons Trump got elected.

Exhibit A in how to ***** slap an unhinged, wanna-be dictator masquarading as the president. Well done, Senator Harris.

They are going full Hail Mary on impeachment i think because they know RBG wont last till next Nov.

Tick...tick...tick

Breaking Headline News:

TRUMP ECONOMY BREAKS HOLIDAY SHOPPING RECORDS!

yeah, i just splurged on a new mirrorless DSLR camera

Dems deeply saddened

They are going all-in on impeachment because they know the President committed multiple impeachable offenses. Being the patriots that they are, the Dems are abiding to their oaths of office by staying on the Constitutional track, like the founding fathers intended. Tick...tick...tick

Nice, Spike. I actually agree with you on this one.

No wonder you are scared

Ginsburg health scare raises prospect of election year Supreme Court battle

Liberal activists are already calling on President Trump to keep any possible Supreme Court vacancy open until after the 2020 election, but Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has indicated he would fill a court vacancy next year

Republicans control 53 Senate seats, meaning Democrats would need four GOP defections to stop a Trump nominee if they hold their own ranks.

“It would be the biggest Supreme Court battle we’ve ever seen. There would be no comparison. It would make the Brett Kavanaugh fight look like a game of beanbag”

If he picks the red headed female from Notre Dame it's a slam dunk. They can't try to destroy a woman. #MeToo

It's really this simple, it boils down to this. If lying about a blow job warranted impeachment then so does Trump’s conduct. Same with Nixon. The case against Trump is 100x stronger than both of those. Let the chips fall where they may in the Senate, the House has no other choice but to abide by their oath to uphold the Constitution.

Sure they can. They control the media and entertainment types who dictate the apparent zeitgeist. A cultural narrative would be created to allow for a no-rules attack on a pro-life, second amendment, originalist Republican woman. I think you would be amazed at the kind of attacks they would come up with.

Either that, or Clinton committed a federal crime (on film), and Trump - well the Democrats just don't like him.

...and Trump - well the Democrats just don't like him.

That really is all you - and Trump - seem to have, in defense of his wrongdoing. Namely, nothing. Good luck with that.

BREAKING NEWS: Three out of the four constitutional experts testifying under oath before Congress have concluded that @realDonaldTrump has committed at least three impeachable offenses:

(1) Bribery
(2) Abuse of Power
(3) Obstruction of Congress
