Spike, it is just a variation of a respiratory virus, i.e., a flu. Its ease of transmission and potential mortality make it much different than SARS and MERS (from the same virus strain but less deadly and apparently more difficult to transmit), but in fact the virus is a flu.

Then again, the Spanish flu was just a flu and killed 41 million people so there's that.

And just maybe these things are happening because people are getting spooked by the constant gloom and doom being fed to them 24/7.

When 1,000,000 Americans die from drinking Corona, I'll start to be concerned.

In a country with over 400 million, that would be a whopping 1/4 of 1 percent.

Interesting thought just hit me. Making dinner. Turned on the big screen. I usually pull up a basketball game or similar. ESPN is on. And I realized...for a month they are LITERALLY going to have nothing to talk about. What in the hell will their programming be? I bet they are ******** bricks.
