The Coronavirus thread

Yet again I'm thankful for my governor. The snowflakes, a bunch of my family included, ***** about her opening it up too quickly "we haven't even peaked yet" I heard yesterday. What do you say to these closed minded people who won't, WON'T, listen?
 
I just want to be able to get my hair cut and to go to the gym!!! Is that too much to ask??

Side note- I had to make a boob smash appt and an eye appt for this year. I waited until the restrictions were eased up on- 2 weeks waiting for the boob smash, and over a MONTH for the eye appt. I’m surprised at the wait time for both- I would have figured it would be switched- less time for eyes, more time for boobs.
 
Stay home if you're scared. This stuff isn't going away anytime soon and more than likely will be with us for a few years. The more people who are immune to it the better. That means less spreading. You'll be sitting in your house for months and months and months and months. Seriously. The best thing we can do is preventive measures when out and about. That's it. Watching the country crumble and people getting completely ****** over by overzealous governors who have a real boner for absolute power need a timeout. They should be adapting to this circumstance and helping businesses open now in the safest manner possible.

Again this year there is zero percent chance the deaths from this virus will even come close to the annual deaths from aids, In fact if this virus was exactly as prevalent for the next twenty years(and it won’t be) it likely wont kill a fifth of the under 40 population that aids will in the next year alone... yet people have never called for a mandatory condum rule or listing hiv infected people’s addresses much less trying to ban them from having sex...

A pandemic doesn’t suspend personal rights indefinitely... its like if you are suspected of murder, the police can hold you for 24hrs, but they cannot just give you an indefinite lockdown just in case...

Sorry but that had zero impact on this situation. I'm betting none of those little ******** even have a job. I'm a loyal conservative and Trump supporter but again that had nothing to do with anything other than them being little dick heads.

Police arrest 3 protesters, cite another 5 at ‘reopen Hawaii’ rally in front of State Capitol

Organizers of the rally, which began at noon and was promoted online at change.org, called the restrictions an “illegal lockdown.” In addition to the arrests, five people were issued citations for violating emergency rules, according to the Honolulu Police Department.

About 200 participants demonstrated on the mauka pedestrian entryway of the Capitol with signs containing messages that included “Open Hawaii Be Akamai” and “Tyranny is nonessential.”

Don't worry, big brother is going to take care of that for you by "contact tracing" and I even heard the pundits on Fox awhile ago pimping an app that will warn you if you are near someone who had covid....

What could possibly go wrong?

Luckily I can color my own hair, so at least the color makes up for the shaggy look. I never was much of a gym fan until they told me I couldn’t go! There’s nowhere to blow off steam and aggression. I take my dogs on hour long walks each, but that’s not as satisfying as punching something or lifting weights. I think our phase 2 is in 2 weeks and that’s when gyms open again.
 
Dammit, you opened the beaches and now Don Shula is dead from Covid. Probably. Maybe. Possibly.
 
All deaths will be attributed to virus because.....Trump.
