I too am pretty sure "duck dynasty" won't make the roster. My hopes are Linch puts in the HARD work now, while visiting Canada durring all their PS3 madden football visits.

I see you have "BIG" Dan not making the roster and I'm on that wagon as well. We know Dan's ceiling and I feel the rookie has a way higher ceiling.

I'm not disagreeing with nb yaz but if a stronger PUNTER could be brought in, I'd go for that. Once our guy was pulverized on the fake punt thingy, he hasn't been the same. Maybe by now he is healed up and things will be back to normal but STIFF competition is warranted here.

LASTLY, Ryan Switzarmyknife is a waste of a roster spot. I'm not saying you are wrong because he very well will probably make the team but I sure wouldn't be disappointed if he is beat out by anyone, including the janitorial staff. Dri Archer could almost beat a full blade of grass but Switz hardly gives a 1/2 blade of grass a battle. There are WAY more viable return / WRs out there and just as cheap. I'm hoping someone in our group can step up, even if JUST enough to beat out Switz.

For me that is a free agent who needs to be brought in. They really semi addressed every other concern. (Although I still have concerns at backup QB) Wood will probably get Hargrave's snaps and Ulysees and Brooks or Edmunds will get Barron's snaps . I guess in an emergency they could move Edmunds to FS but I am thinking they are thinking of moving him in closer not further away. FS is the one position that could come back and bite them in the ***. Extend one player or sign Bud to a contract and bring a FS in, snap snap Steelers.

i would prefer the team kept one more O-Lineman and one less CB. Also, not sure they will keep that many OLB. But...But...bottom of the roster/postion guys are going to be kept because of ST play so it is always hard to predict that extra backer or extra db or extra WR. Anyway, this list is pretty solid until we actually get to see guys in pads. Nice write up. thanks.

I can’t see Switzerland making it past the preseason. Hopefully Quadray Henderson unseats Switz as the 4th or 5th receiver. I’d like to see Whyte try and snag a spot on the roster. He could be a good change up back to compliment Snell and of Connor.

Quadree Henderson is back on the roster and will compete with Switzer for the slot and returning roles.

FS backups don't have to come from the Safety spot. Sutton could fill in at FS in a pinch. He's played deep in the dime/dollar last year. Brooks may have some ability there as well. He's fast on tape.

I can’t see Switzerland making it past the preseason.

I didn't see him making it last year and he stuck around. This year...with no OTA's and probably short/restricted I suspect they will go with the devils they already know. it is just going to be hard for young guys with limited reps to unseat vets. That and Ben seems to like him. I am afraid Switz be coming back no matter how much i would like to see a developmental guy who can play teams

Switz is solid and tough, Quadree is quick twitch. I think Q is a better returner, but with a year of seasoning he's going to give Switz a run this year. The coaches will keep the best player. I see Q as more of an Eli type of receiver, and I wanted him over Switz last year.

I like Edmunds up closer too. Fitz is the better centerfielder and is better at diagnosing plays. That was a huge improvement on the defense. Sean Davis just didn’t have it. Davis is a fine substitution safety and role player. I would like to see another year of the Fitz/Edmunds combo. I think together they will be fine. Having that ability to have a FS and SS play with understanding the other is something we haven’t seen since Clark/Polamalu. Fitz, Edmunds, Haden and Nelson have the potential to be a top secondary this season

so true is reliable to make difficult catches on punts and then just call for a fair catch or run 3-4 yds before getting hit or run out of bounds.

Edmunds you have to try usingh him in ways troy was he has the speed he the closer the line and with his speed burst he can shut a sweep lane or blitz, he really needs to be used on the type of blitzes like up the gut or the corner blitzes troy would come like missle. terrell is a decent read and react that he needs to perfect with reliable S next to him it should help as his play was much better since we got fitz, he was called on a bs def pass infc gm 2 that lead to the winning td vs seattle, he had great coverage.
