[h=1]Unemployment rate drops to 13.3%[/h]
The U.S. unemployment rate unexpectedly dropped to 13.3 percent in May, down from a record high in April, indicating the nation's economy is recovering faster than expected from the coronavirus lockdown.
The Labor Department said in its Friday report that employers added a stunning 2.5 million jobs in May -- the biggest increase on record. The economy shed a combined 22.1 million jobs in April and March, meaning there are an estimated 21 million Americans currently out of work.

I have seen there are three memorial services for George Floyd, and that’s fine. From what I can tell, the turnout for those has been pretty large. Does anyone find it ironic that due to coronavirus, people were not allowed to attend (for example) their own mother’s funeral or even have a funeral, but thousand are permitted to attend a service for a guy most of them probably didn’t even know?

As I said before, when it comes to this virus, I think we’ve been had.

Yep, for a "highly contagious" virus, there was not a single reported case after the massive parties at the Lake of Ozarks on Memorial Day weekend. There has not been a single location with exponential spikes in cases, deaths, or hospitalizations since states have re-opened. This all just seems far too coincidental this year.

EXCLUSIVE: Surgisphere (www.surgisphere.com) was the mysterious data analytics firm whose research helped discredit hydroxychloroquine. The Lancet has since published a retraction, but many questions remain. Among them, why Surgisphere’s marketing director, Ariane Anderson, appears to have enjoyed a side gig as “adult content model” (aka porn actress) Aria Logan. bit.ly/30gpM9W

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...naaVeEiwAP0TMC8woMjrQxIA0jfCQKTk3qJEeJYyCrvus

A search of publicly available material suggests several of Surgisphere’s employees have little or no data or scientific background. An employee listed as a science editor appears to be a science fiction author and fantasy artist whose professional profile suggests writing is her fulltime job. Another employee listed as a marketing executive is an adult model and events hostess, who also acts in videos for organisations.

Her porn name is Aria Logan. Hit.

Yeah, I keep reading it's cause "racism is a public health issue". But I guess lack of education, medical and dental care, unemployment, poverty, addiction, domestic abuse, anxiety, depression and suicide are not.

Just talked with a buddy who lives in Dallas Fort Worth area, he says Covid-19 is skyrocketing there right now. Said there were 498 new cases just today in DFW.

The numbers to watch are hospitalizations though. If we do get a lot of cases from these protests they will be mostly among young and probably healthier than average people (would imagine those with underlying conditions wouldn't be out there).

Thanks protesters for your contributions to herd immunity!

Yep. I honestly thought though that like the flu, this virus would die off with the warmer weather. But you're absolutely right about hospitalizations etc.

Here is a thought to go along with that observation Sarge. There are many more people out in the Country observing this ridiculous display than the radicals can imagine.

"Cold anger does not need to go to violence. For those who carry it, no conversation is needed when we meet. You cannot poll or measure it; specifically because most who carry it avoid discussion .... And that decision has nothing whatsoever to to with any form of correctness."

Adding to the building rage is the Chinese pandemic. America watched in silence -- silence as far as the media was concerned -- as the political establishment hyped the effects of the Wuhan virus with fake epidemic models and closed much of the economy, throwing millions out of work and destroying many small businesses in the process. And to further the insult to basic decency, the draconian shutdowns closed places of worship while allowing liquor stores and state lotteries to remain open. People were scolded from on high and threatened with jail if they tried to exercise their constitutional right to free assembly. But all those alleged concerns of stopping the virus went out the window when the George Floyd mobs assembled. People saw this hypocrisy. It fueled their cold anger even more because it implied that the authorities never really believed social distancing was all that necessary in the first place.

By their words and deeds, the Democrats have demonstrated like never before that they are openly hostile to law-enforcement. Some are calling to abolish, or at the very least, to defund the police. That might be applauded by the radical and anarchists, but it goes over like a lead balloon in middle America and I would suspect in most minority communities as well.

These riots are a sad commentary on what the progressives have wrought upon this great nation.

"I decry the injustice of my wounds, only to look down and see that I am holding a smoking gun in one hand and a fistful of ammunition in the other."

Florida has been getting 1000+ new cases a day for the last 5 days. The overall testing positive is down in % to the amount tested.

It's been wipe spread. The herd immunity is our direction. Everyone else is just dragging out the inevitable.

Cold anger! I like that term.

The number of positives lately is much much higher percent due to rapid testing, required weekly testing in healthcare. Now the tests are this available and with quick turnaround, the negative outcomes will be substantially less

I am by no means espousing hate as a way of life or productive; however, history records the wrath awakened when there is a "long train of abuses and usurpations" as we have seen over the past several generations in America. I'm hoping there is at least hell to pay for the collectivists in November for the lawlessness we have seen from the party of Soros and China. When one considers the browbeating this nation and people that ended slavery must continually endure, at some point enough will be enough.

THE WRATH OF THE AWAKENED SAXON
by Rudyard Kipling

It was not part of their blood,
It came to them very late,
With long arrears to make good,
When the Saxon began to hate.

They were not easily moved,
They were icy -- willing to wait
Till every count should be proved,
Ere the Saxon began to hate.

Their voices were even and low.
Their eyes were level and straight.
There was neither sign nor show
When the Saxon began to hate.

It was not preached to the crowd.
It was not taught by the state.
No man spoke it aloud
When the Saxon began to hate.

It was not suddently bred.
It will not swiftly abate.
Through the chilled years ahead,
When Time shall count from the date
That the Saxon began to hate.

It's all about the testing. I was over this crap months ago. We all(my household) probably had it in late December/January.

It's going to run It's course. Nothing will stop that. Not in a free society. We'd have to block all travel in and out of the country as well.

If it was the black death I could see it, but it's not.

It's obviously impervious to protests&riots. I hear it hangs out in churches though.

"This page is no longer active" WTF?

Yep, saw that as well. The reference was from Forbes, a very legitimate news source. No idea why the article was removed.

I am guessing Google's thought police in action. Remember, they promised to flag (remove) articles questioning the Chinese bootlickers at W.H.O.'s version of all things Chinese flu.

Gee, so it probably isn't a coincidence that the virus emerged from the city of the only BSL-4 lab in China - the Wuhan INSITUTE OF VIROLOGY FOR ****"S SAKE!

Hint - probably not a coincidence that they went on a global PPE shopping spree before the world found out about it, and they let it out of their country but not to other parts of China.

I started really wondering if we could all be this stupid when nobody balked at that stupid Susan Rice Benghazi YouTube video story.

What this is still a thing? I thought we moved on to other stuff, asking for a friend
