You gotta be careful with the hospitalization figures. Dr Scott Atlas says that the rise in hospitalizations has a lot to do with routine procedures starting back up. Everyone is tested, of course. Depending on location, anywhere between 40-60% of new Covid cases are routines, who arrive asymptomatic, but test positive. But they are still counted as Covid. It is deaths and ICU figures we need to watch.
I, for one, have lost all confidence in Fauci. And I belive he has an agenda that involves big Pharma.

Whatever. I'm tired of trying to discuss this with you guys while cases rise, hospitalizations rise, deaths rise, Trump's poll numbers slide into the toilet and he seems to take action after action and make statement after statement to keep those trends going.
I was wrong about Trump's electability last time and I hope to God I'm wrong now and that he doesn't lose in a landslide and take Congress down with him.

Scott Adams on his podcast today cited a piece of research that showed that 60% of Trump supporters will not be honest with a pollster. I don't think this is difficult to believe. Then, what does this say about the polls?
In California, when a person tests positive for Covid, they are required to keep testing until they get a negative before they can return to work. Every one of those positive tests is considered a new case, despite that it is the same person. All positive antibody tests are considered a new case. These Dem shitholes are cooking the books. This is all about November.
Turn your TV off. You will be better informed as a result.
Its the same in iowa regarding the new test, new case. I would wager its the same everywhere in the US.

Statistics can be manipulated in both directions. Some of you don't seem to realize that. Do you really think Trump has no interest in minimizing the negatives? In reopening the economy at all costs? I manage the Pittsburgh office of a national direct cremation company. My region includes 5 east coast states and each morning we all have to report how many Covid-19 cases we had in the previous 24 hours. Granted it's just a small sample from one company but so far this month we've totaled 4 cases in 5 states which is WAY down from April and May.
Just curious, what were the cases at in April and May?

Trump is not the Boogeyman. My point is all of this has been politicized. Decisions are not being made by either side based on public health balanced with economic health anymore. It's all about posturing and jockeying for political position. People are getting sick and dying, Trump didn't cause it but he is ignoring it. He needs to lead.
What is he ignoring?
He shut the borders when the Dems were calling him racist. He recommended shutting down the country, based on advice by Fauci. He supported an economic aid plan. When it became apparent the hospitals were okay, he urged reopening our devastated economy, which he continues today. The rest is up to the individual states.
What do you want? He wore a ******* mask the other day. Jesus.
What would you like him to do?
He gave these guys ventilators and hospital beds galore when they begged for it (as he did with every other state who requested it), and instead they put infected patients into vulnerable nursing homes. And not only are they not behind bars, they still have their jobs.

I'm weary of this conversation honestly.
This is the biggest issue facing our nation. Who gives a **** what he did 4 months ago. Yay he wore a mask in public for the first time...he's made no public statements strongly encouraging people to wear masks or social distance. He's urged no actions. He's offered no guidance on how we slow the terrible trend we are in all over the country right now. States ignored the guidance his task force put out and he said nothing. He is NOT LEADING.
"Oh it's up to the states now" is not leadership.
Sorry. It isn't. It is worse than typical flu. Period. Hey Spike, it is a bad flu. It impacts the most vulnerable, like those in nursing homes. I know. I have a 92 year old mother in a home that I have not been able to see for 5 months. It has taken it's toll. The rest will be fine.
Neither is systemic racism. No factual basis for that.

The biggest issue facing our nation is the marxist attempt to destabilize us, and fracture us. The cultural marxists are flexing their muscles, and we need to be willing to fight the fight.
