While the announcers were saying Claypool was being doubled at times, this isn't the type of balance the offense needs.

Claypool just 1 target and one PI call flag drawn. Washington just 1 target too.

Regarding Washington, it seemed like he hardly played period, which is curious, given how well he played last week.

I seriously wondered at one point if he was injured.

I did not like the lack of targets for Claypool either, as it could not have ALL been the Titans defense.

It is pretty obvious that Diontae is Ben's favorite WR

the titans played to take Claypool out of the game, that left JuJu and Johnson and Ebron open....as has been posted before, it is going to be difficult to stop all the receiving threats on this team

and claypool had more than one target...he got the PI call and then the one he fumbled in the back field and the one at the end where they called offensive PI

It seemed like Ben hardly looked in Claypool’s direction. Maybe the plan was for him to be a decoy this week. My fantasy team appreciates that approach.

That's what I saw too.

Which is EXACTLY the type of balance this offense needs. What they also need is for Fichtner's sphincter to stop tightening up every time they get a lead.

Very curious to see so few snaps for Washington, though it appeared he was out there when the CBS broadcast stopped working.

Its the usual Tomlin move before a huge game... use a star as a decoy exclusively then go big with him the next week... Hairball wont be fooled....

mine didn't

Well, I was being sarcastic. I benched Ju Ju, who had done nada for a couple of weeks, and started Claypool. Their coverage may have been focused on him.

AB is still available in my league. It might be time to make a move. We almost have too many receivers for any of them to have reliable fantasy value. Johnson seems to get the most targets when he’s playing. He’s also available in my league.

Mine too. I have them both and I have DJ sitting on the bench this week. I'm so smart...

That drive was the only time I can recall seeing him, though I'm sure he probably had a few plays prior.

He definitely was not really in the game plan. That much is certain.

Johnson would be deadly if he could be more consistent.

You can say that about a lot of players around the league.

The talent is obvious, but his hands are a bit shaky and there always seems to be two or three plays where he's not where Ben expects him to be.

Also, the durability concerns resurfaced again, though it did not seem to be anything serious.

I think he has an Allpro ceiling, but there's no guarantee that he'll reach it.

All Pro ceiling?

Given Johnson lack of durabiity, it would not surprise me if he was limited our out for the next game. The guy has thin build and pin legs, a what they heck type of football IQ, and unreliable hands. Yes he has talent. Lots of players do. You give Claypool 15 targets he's getting a lot more than 80 yards.

The Steelers offense seems unable to call play action or execute a screen pass well. Why is a good question.

He has rare agility and quickness, and he knows how to use it to avoid press coverage.

He's extraordinarily gifted as a pass catcher and route runner, but he is not yet reliable in either area, and may never be.

On that I agree but his yards per catch is below average as he's not that fast. He is easy to bring down and too small to a factor outside the hashmarks. Since the Steelers have so many weapons, he can shine at times. The TD catch was a sweet play. On a team with average receivers, he'd struggle as a #1.

I just wish his hands were better and he was on the same page with Ben ad he was more durable. Moving him off the PR duties was a tremendous move by the Steelers. Glad it happened even if Tomlin saw it the other way around to start the year. Ray-Ray has pro bowl ability as a punt return man.
