My wife is a Director of Nursing and was previously on the NICU transport team. They have teams staffed 24/7 of nurses, doctors, respiratory therapist, etc. who fly to rural areas to pick up patients in need of high level care. Ever see helicopters with health system logos on them? Guess what they do?
