Report: Aaron Rodgers Is At Steelers Facility On Friday

Now Rodgers is coming to the Steelers officially, management can move forward filling in the rest of the holes.

Hopefully, this works out since I'm guessing the team goes all in now to win if it looks like he's going to be playing at a high level. Maybe they will gauge things through the early part of the season before doing anything too crazy and expensive.

I don't want to see a bunch of Rodgers' guys coming in on multiple year contracts unless they are actually good. If the ends up one and done, the team doesn't want to get stuck with a bunch of guys they only signed to make him happy.

Now it's official, I'm fine with it and hope he and the team have a great year.
 
On another site, a guy said he stayed away because he needed one more round of PED's to fully heal the achilles. :ROFLMAO:
 
I'll give Tomlin credit here, he got his guy. They were confident the entire way so there was little reason to doubt the process or else Rooney and Tomlin would've ended up with egg on their face. I *think* he should be good enough to earn the Steelers a 6th or 7th spot in the playoffs.

Fair enough, but there’s nothing in his history that suggests he couldn’t adapt.

That said, I don’t think it can be held against him that he coached a different era of football. He excelled in the era that he coached.
 
Can't wait to see the fireworks on the sideline after Rodgers throws his first INT over the middle of the field.

I just hope that Rodgers throws the Tomlin playbook out the window as he crosses the bridge, and plays as Ben used to in crunch time.
 
Well they can stop bitching about quarterbacks for this season. That can has been kicked to next year.


Next order of buisness. TJ Watt and that god awful run defense combined with a very predictable easily defeated defensive scheme.

Perhaps we will see a litte revival of Blitzburg this year combined with some tactical brilliance each week.

Statistically we were not a bad run defense. Late in the season we were but that was mostly attrition and the poor offense in my opinion. The fresh bodies on the line should pay huge dividends as they get up to speed.

You can’t have a conversation about this team and it’s future, and fixing its huge problems that have caused this playoff drought without discussing its deeply flawed, stubborn, arrogant head coach who has a massive amount of control over everything.

If you don’t like it you can also STFU and keep scrolling, it’s a chat board what do you expect…

Passive fans who are just fine with the team being average and not winning postseason games year after year are the reason ownership doesn’t make the needed changes.

He hasn’t played under Coach Tomlin and that amazing scheme yet either. I wouldn’t rule out any thing yet.!!!

Even the possibility of a healthy scratch in favor of Rudy to win the last three games of the seaso, for the coveted Tomlinships Trophy.
