Deshaun Elliott

Peppers is a moron
Thornhill is awful and makes zero positive impact
Clark has had 1 decent game but also some clunkers
Killebrew is ST only (and beat Elliot to IR)

Elliot was the only safety worth his salt on the entire squad. We knew this was an issue going in.

I think the obvious answer is Ramsey to safety and shuffle the deck at corner bringing back Beenie to the game day roster…as any safety brought in at this point wouldn’t be able to hop on Tomlin’s moving train anyways.

Not like it matters as this team has the same damn ceiling every Tomlin team has…even the dinosaur Rodgers won’t be able to counteract the Tomlin effect…if he’s lucky he’ll reach “the standard”.

Until Tomlin goes same old sorry a$$ $teelers and nothing changes. The song remains the same…underachieving, miscommunications and disappointment to anyone who was foolish enough to get their hopes up and buy in.

Happy Groundhog’s Day!

It’s almost like we’ve watched this pathetic movie once or twice already. So many good coaches coming into and already in the league lazy a$$ Art needs to go get one. Looks like my preference Vrabel is starting to put it together in NE, that would’ve been a solid choice for building some identity.
I thought thornhill would be serviceable, wrong.

agree with moving Ramsey to FS as of right now and bringing Beenie.

give the CB keys to Pierre and JPJ, what's the worst that can happen? getting torched? it's already happening with old vets.

Rather sink or swim with younger players. At least see if they are building pieces for the future.

I'm not exactly sure what you were expecting for an IDL selected in the back third of the first round. Harmon was never going to put up monster stats this year.
At least flash once in awhile.
What was he....20 overall?
Every player outside a rookie QB should be able to get his number called and noticed during the game...especially a guy whose playing the majority of the snaps.

Thats what I expect of every number one we chose....every year....at the very least,\.
The young man needs to pick it up....quickly, like Sunday.

You have to keep in mind that he is 22 years old and really doesn't have that "Man Strength" yet. Similarly, Casey Hampton was drafted 19th overall and only started 11 games his rookie season splitting time with Kendrick Clancy. Big Snack had 22 combined tackles and 1 sack in 16 games. Harmon has 11 Combined tackles and two sacks in 5 games. That puts Harmon on pace for 27 Combined Tackles and 6 sacks in one less game...I'd say the kid is doing alright potentially besting the rookie season of a dominant Steelers Nose Tackle

6 sacks by a rookie DT would be a great season for sure

Snack NEVER put up big stats. However, his presence was felt on that dline from the moment he stepped on the field as a rookie until he retired. There was a time when they had something like 90 games without allowing a 100+ yard rusher. That is unfuckingreal. I remember William Greene in the ‘02 playoffs have a stat line of 20 carries for 25 yards. Big Snack is one of the most dominant pure nose tackles that I’ve ever had the pleasure of watching.

He was flanked by Aaron Smith and Kimo, good luck running against that! I'm a huge Dirt Dawson fan and one of my favorite stories is the Steeler's brass asked him who is the one DT you dread playing against and he told them "Kimo Von Oelhoffen". The Steelers signed him away from the Bungles soon after.
