Take away the defensive TDs and the Steelers are now down to 21.7 PPG, which would be 24th in the NFL. They are in free-fall mode on offense.
They don't go under center much when he's healthy, they are near the bottom of the NFL is % of QB under center and % of play fakes, again this is Conservative Mike's offense, remember everyone bitching about Ben, saying he's holding the Canada offense back because he refuses to go under center or play fake because he doesn't want to turn his back to the D??? Well Ben isn't here and neither is Canada, any guess who the one person that is still here is?
Under tomlin, the steelers moved from a primarily under center team to a shotgun spread team. We abandoned tge Erhadrt style offebse with Gaily's modifications for arians Air Coryell system.I tried to find it with no luck. Until this last game I sure thought we were running far more than we had been the last few years, but that is certainly just my non-charted impression.
Dude, I might even pay the ticket price to see that debacle. It's unfortunate we've already played the Vikings. Imagine that battle to the death now that both teams are starting to peak.
I feel bad for the guy, but I can't quit watching and laughing at that pick 6 Max Brosmer threw yesterday.Dude, I might even pay the ticket price to see that debacle.
it's amazing that there is anything more laughable than the Steelers at the moment, but it can be found. Alcohol helps.............I feel bad for the guy, but I can't quit watching and laughing at that pick 6 Max Brosmer threw yesterday.
He had two 1,000 yard receivers when he was OC with the Titans....OCs...good OCs adapt to the personnel they have.Arthur Smith is nothing more than a hack, which fits perfectly with Tomlin's legacy of assistant coaches. Smith's reputation was built around running an offense that featured Derrick Henry in his prime days. A monkey could have done that.
Austin has the answer ready for next week... " Keep watching" to quote Mike Tomlin in his after Bills game PC.On the Pat McAfee show today, they showed the differential stats from the game, and the Bills were +191 in rushing yards, the largest rushing differential in a Steelers game since 1955.
Tone Digz ripped into the Steelers as pretty much everyone on this board has, but he brought up something that seems SO long ago...we went 32 consecutive games without allowing a 100 yard rusher. And now we're setting records in the opposite direction
Man, that sucks. I stopped torturing myself with stats like that. I found myself laughing multiple times during the game yesterday. It was therapeutic.
Yes. 100% it's largely scheme issues. On defense, as well.Patriots have the 3rd best passing offense. Their WRs are Stefon Diggs, Kayshon Boutte, Mack Hollins, DeMario Douglas, Kyle Willaims and Hunter Henry at TE. Not exactly a stable of elite talents.
Oh, but that's because Drake Maye is a rising star.
San Francisco has the 5th best pass offense with Brock Purdy and Mac Jones at QB. WRs Kendrick Bourne, Jauan Jennings, Ricky Pearsall. TE George Kittle (missed 5 games) and Jake Tonges
Rodgers is not his HOF self but he's not washed. He still has an arm and is probably around the 15th best QB in the league. In other words, the steelers do have enough offensive talent to be much better than this.
My big question is why did a healthy Mason Rudolph line up in the pistol?
