The Steelers have had so may "lows" the past five years. Horrific defensive performances, inept offense, losing to the Browns in the playoffs, being underdogs against teams they used to beat up on, etc.

I tell you San Fran put on a clinic on how to use a FB. Theirs starts in motion and draws the linebackers which cheated to whichever direction the FB was going. San Fran doubled up blocking inside and the RB would cut back to the open area created by the area the LBs left.

Basically they caught the ILBers out of position.

There’s a lot of firsts disgusting us right now. First time going 7 years without playoff win in 50 years. First time more visiting fans than Steeler fans for any game, let alone a highly anticipated home opener. First time even when losing we allow other teams to bully us around. It’s something new daily. I personally blame The Duece. He’s a businessman over a competitor, obviously. Wtf is wrong with being both?!

All businessmen are competitors.
He likely just feels he can make good money by going with the flow.

I have said it before and I will say it again. I would let Tomlin ride out this contract. If he wins a Super Bowl or gets to the AFC Championship game in 2023 then you can talk about resigning him. If not let him go into 2024 with the one year left on his contract. If he again wins a Super Bowl or gets to the AFC Championship I would then offer him another contract. If not I let him walk and sign a coach who can actually get this team past the hump. Tomlin did fine with Cowhers team. Once Cowhers team got old he has been an average NFL coach. We don't want average we want great. We want championships. Going 9-8 just ain't going to cut it.

The season ticket holders have moved onto running the tickets as a business, can’t blame them. The owner seems to be doing the same with the team.

The NFL 9& owners), have done a lot into making the game less desirable. The Art 2 is easing into that very same catagory with the STEELERS. I still am a STEELERS Fanatic, but the armor has tarnished a little.

I am not a fan of either. I like Dan Rooney. Not that one the one who was a college qb at Dartmouth. He’s young and a football guy. Art the Deuce is an accountant. 0 football knowledge.
