I was kind of surprised how invested and happy I was that Roethlisberger and the team won the game against the Browns.
I'm actually quite happy for the guy and glad he had that one last experience. Fans were great and really showed him true appreciation. Those types of things seem rare in today's sports world. I'm sure there will be a "Roethlisberger Night" after he retires, but this game felt more organic and true to heart. Sometimes you just can't "plan" a proper sendoff and this type of spontaneous appreciation was special.
