2017 Free Agent rumors and news

who said I'd pay that for him? Yet he'd be our #1 CB until Burns finishes his development

I'd suggest that Burns may already be better than Ryan. Last year's stats are similar enough and Burns didn't have the advantage of already knowing the offensive play call.....

I think Cockrell shut down some good receivers last year, right? I'm not sure Ryan is better enough than Cockrell to pay the difference in the salary he would want. And Cockrell doesn't have *'s stench.

I wouldn't break the bank for him but a starting CB for 6M $ that can play both outside and nickel, is still young and has shown the skills to thrive in a Steelers D wouldn't be a bad deal at all

Gilmore to NE

So we need a top notch CB, and now the team we need a CB the most to stop has two top notch CB's! WTF!!!
Why not make an offer to Malcolm Butler, force NE to match it, if they don't we get him and they get #30, Butler is worth the #30 pick IMO.

Logan Ryan to the Titans 3 years 30 million

Bears signed CB Prince Amukamara, formerly of the Jaguars.

another option gone

2 more years of headaches...thanks...

Here's one might come cheap

Ravens release longtime CB/S Lardarius Webb

One of the better slot cornerbacks in the league in his prime, Webb was moved to free safety last season when age caught up with him.

No, no, no...

What ranking is that?

Patrick Robinson just got released by the Colts. Steelers had interest in him last year.

PFF CB rankings from last year ...not that it means much...Cooper was under constant attack playing opposite Peterson

Colts released CB Patrick Robinson.

One of ex-GM Ryan Grigson's many free-agent flops, Robinson was unable to stay on the field last season due to groin, knee, and concussion issues.

He started just six games. With new GM Chris Ballard in town, it's time to clean house. The move saves $2.5 million. Robinson turns 30 this year, but he had a really good 2015 with the Chargers and can still help a team.

A cripple for cheap?

Get out the band-aid box. Hell ya, we'll take him!
