2018-19 Penguins and NHL Offseason

Good for the Blues. So much hitting in that game. Can't wait to see what happens when they go home. They earned that W.

In Pens news. Riikola was resigned for 1 year at $850K. Pettersson is the only NHL level Dman unsigned. Now let's find a home for JJ

Well that thoroughly sucked. I think Rask is going to be the deciding factor that wins the cup for the Bruins.

Shame Binnington got yanked. He had been almost unbeatable since he took over the net. Hopefully he responds well and stops letting the Bruin's get into his head. Rask has his mental game dialed in. The Blues can't seem to get him flustered. They have tried everything but pulling his pants down. I hope St. Louis can rebound for game 4.

Hmmm, maybe this would work..

Blues have to get better on the power play.
Good win and fun physical play though

I'm sore this morning just from watching that game. The Blues really put the pressure on.

Chara got hit in the face with a slap shot. Ouch! Almost point blank. That looked nasty. Great win for the Blues. They really needed that W. They need to steal another one in Beantown and win it at home.

Looks like he has a broken jaw. Tough guy, Came back and sat the 3rd period on the bench rather than going to the hospital. You have to love NHL players. Not a Bruins fan but at 42 Chara doesn't much time left.

In Blues news....Vince Dunn commented that he would rather "sacrifice his face" than wearing a full cage. The cage blocked his vision. His jaw is still wired shut. Of course last game he took a stick to the face. His comment " it's not be a good month for my face".

Yea, a frozen puck or stick will win over a face everytime. I agree about Chara, tough dude. Rather be with his team than go to hospital. That gets respect.

Way to go Blues! **** Boston. Real classy asshat fans too. One more win.

Didn't see, but the last 6 min, but was so thrilled to see the Blues with the W. Sunday night will be bonkers in STL. I hope they kick their dicks into the ice and end the series.

Great game, great series! Gotta love playoff hockey. It’s think it’s the toughest championship to win in all of the sports. What a grind.

I missed the game. What did the do throw stuff on the ice?

I hate when bad calls change the direction of a game. That Bozak leg sweep was pretty obvious and should have been called. I'm all for letting them play and I think both teams had room to do that.

Binnington has been unreal. He's been lights out since January. Having he right young goaltender makes all the difference in the world.

I hope the Blues get this done.

The big issue was the no call on Bozak. He swept the leg on Acciari and the Blues scored right after. Bruins GM was having a fit (Cam Neeley).

The Bozak missed call was the deciding factor.
Cheap play. It’s Boston though, Marchand has done worse imo.

Still going for the Blues

I agree on Uncle Ben and MTC's account of the Bozak play. Should have been called and was terrible missed call, but it's Boston. Score more than one goal, gum flappers.

Well, I am happily surprised that it’s 3-2 Blues after 5 games. I thought the Bruins would run them through in short order. Happy to be very wrong. Hope STL closes this out Sunday.

Game 7’s tend to take on a life of their own.

I'm shocked the Blues have a 3-2 lead. I thought Boston would sweep them or at least win in 5.

That was a bad missed call but Marchand gets away with tons of **** that doesn't get called. IMHO it didn't cost them the game. You've got to score more than 1 goal to win.
