St. Louis was real physical tonight and the Pens conquered
 
The Blues actually played a good game. We just killed it. Nice to see.

I know they scored a lot tonight but they are going to win with defense. Murray was good and he made some great saves. But the defense was good as well in front of him.

If today is the last day of the season for the Steelers, I sure am glad the Pens fought their way out of the doldrums. It was looking pretty grim a few weeks ago.
 
Great win over the Blues last night in St. Louis. Offense was clicking and Murray was solid in net.

I always love beating St. Louis. For the old-timers on here, that was the Pens' big nemesis before the Flyers took that role.

Jack Johnson has been having some solid games the past few weeks.
He's passing the eye ball test anywho.

I'm hoping Riikola stays up. I have a feeling Oleksiak will probably take his spot when healthy.
The defense has really hunkered down though during the win streak. It's a good sign

This streak of no more than 2 goals allowed is what sticks out to me the most. I hope that trend continues a long time or at least most of the time.
 
Slow start 1st period but the guys found their touch towards the end of the 1st period.
DeSmith especially.

Minnesota pays tribute to Matt Cullen and shortly after he draws a penalty to put the good guys on the powerplay.
 
DeSmith is killing them. They have no answer for his skills.

3-2 final!

More production from the bottom lines.
Sheahan coming off the bench onto the rush to score was great.

Reese and Brassard are not afraid to play gritty.
Cullen was getting in there as well.

DeSmith did well.
Wild gave him some work. That empty net sequence was intense.

Damn I missed it...I have been recouping a bad back all day and I should have had the game on to help pass the time.. Great to hear they won again!

It's not worth the energy. It's just embarrassing. I don't do daytime soaps. They need to bleach bomb the whole thing and scrub it from top to bottom .
 
For games like this they should keep picture of Katheryn Tappen up in the corner of the screen. That would keep my interest
 
They aren't playing well right now. Lucky to be tied 0-0. Rangers are outshooting them 9-3. Pens can't keep the puck out of their own zone.
