Somewhat. They are playing in spurts again.
I think with the new guys in the Pens are thinking too much.

Well that was a bummer.
Happy with the effort for the most part. Confident in this roster and possibly one more trade to make the Pens a serious contender again.
 
Back to back with two guys that haven't even practiced as a team. It was a decent effort. I hope Geno comes back with fire, Sitting a forward is going to be a tough call.
 
Maybe a little known fact, but if you stay at the Cambria hotel you get 15% off pens merchandise at the main arena store (and some of the smaller ones do it too but apparently are not supposed to). Just have to show the key card.

Stay once and keep one of the key cards :-). No, we did not do that, but my son did drop his somewhere in ppg.

Pens thread still broken. Guess this here be the new spot
 
I'll catch you guys in a week. We're flying out to Key West in the morning. Spend a couple days in the sun and then up to Sunshine to catch the Pens and Panthers, A couple more days in the Keys and then up to Tampa. Catch the Pens and Bolts. Add in a little golf and fly fishing and it should be a lot of fun. Hopefully we can catch the Canes game in a Keys bar on Tuesday.

Man this is getting frustrating with the rest of the teams in the division floundering around the Pens are completely blowing a chance to gain. McElhinney made some big saves or this game might have had a different outcome. They better be careful floundering around in the middle of the pack with the way the Metropolitan is.....
 
Shutout at home to the Canes. Glad I missed 90% of the game. The last 5 minutes was a joke. If you are not going to even try, go to the locker room and bring up WBS guys. They can mail it in, too.
 
Being outplayed by Florida. WTH. It seems that the team has no forecheck, and is incapable of carrying the puck into the zone. It's confusing.
 
Sully read my post to the team at the intermission. This is our period, for sure.

They are lacking a certain oomph.
The skill is there when they want to play. But that's just that. They are not an aggressive team
