2018-19 Penguins and NHL Offseason

Big win against a white hot team. I didn't see the game Sat., as I thought COL would pull it out. They were bound to win one.

Last night, I didn't know if fatigue would bite them or BOS would just overwhelm them, but they stood up and got a huge W. Matt looked strong and am loving the Florida guys. Looks like GMJR pulled off another nice trade!

They need to man up and start hitting back.
The Pens are grown men too. Gudbranson has a decent showing against Wilson.
I don't think it'll be enough to settle down any attempts at getting under the skin.

The Penguins, love them, but they need to stop bitching if a team roughs them up.

I think we have some players capable of being gritty. They just don't get the opportunity to show.
We'll see come tuesday. Gonna be a tough one and exciting

Since Evander Kane basically called out the entire team. I think They have stepped it up some. Bjugs, McCann, Blueger and even Johnson have gotten physical. Horny always is but he never drops his gloves., so I don't think he is taken serious. Gubranson has been better than expected. They are definitely harder to play against. I see a Wilson vs Wilson. Tom Wilson will run from Gudbranson.


Pens need this win badly. if they don't step up big now they never will.

I noticed that too.
The thing with Tom Wilson, and this goes for the other teams in the nhl.

They know the way he plays, and he's borderline about to end someone's career.
There will be a team that will be like
"Ok enough is enough"

And he's going to get blasted.
Hornqvist will get to these guys. The caps hate him.
Garrett Wilson, Gudbranson, and the FL guys will step up this time.

MTC they do man up....And end up injuring themselves when they fight......:wacko:
 
I'm glad I don't have to watch it on the Caps station. Can't stand their announcers. How many times can someone say "Even Steven" in a game?

They need to stop punching with helmets on.


But I agree, I like the pushback from these guys now.
Wilson and Ovechkin are big bodies, just need a brave soul or 3 who aren't afraid to throw their body into them.

NBC showed an evening photo of the Pittsburgh skyline. Sure looked like a lot of green trees for mid March.

Listening to Mike and Ol 29er. NBC feed is about 20 seconds late but enjoy listening to the radio broadcast. I can watch what sounds good a few seconds later. :)
