Allot of air miles to the west coast, if they move our 9th home game to an international game, well lets wait and see. Otherwise, I never judge teams on the previous year's record.

Basically its probably going to be a really rough schedule next year again.. the only real gimme game are the texans and that’s exactly the kind of game that we lose.. the Rams, Raiders, and colts all underperformed this year… we have to play all of them on the road…they could all rebound the seachickens are always tough at their place..

At home, i mean the Titans are going to do a total overhaul in the offseason so who knows what they will be, all the rest could be really good or meh teams … and in division, the ravens are gonna have to do something about lamar so who knows how that ends up…

Steelers didn't have to leave eastern time zone this year. We know Tomlin's horrible record out west. Next year could be rough

Looks rough on paper. Our home schedule is pretty brutal. Jax is on the upswing and they usually play us tough and the Cards / Packers should be better than this year. Rams really fell off a cliff this year. Cant see them being that bad next year. I think we will be right on the edge of the playoffs. I can see 10-7. If the offense continues to improve maybe 11-6.

That's a lot tougher schedule than many might think. Many teams on there had down years and I expect them to be back in the playoff hunt next year - Rams, Colts, Cardinals, etc. It's not an easy schedule. Plus, our division will be one of the best. I expect the Bungholes and Ratbirds to be where they currently are. Hopefully, we will improve and I even expect the Clowns to improve.

Clowns are strapped with Watson's salary. Not sure how much they are improving. They also don't have the draft capital either. No schedule is easy with this team. What will be even more difficult is if Canada is brought back. I glue to that more than who the Steelers are facing.

Not really - another 9-8 non-losing season and no playoff berth.
I would be pretty confident they could see a playoff game next year with free agency and their draft stock. I would be less confident in their ability to win it.

For me a key to the offseason is what they do with Canada.

If nothing your prediction could very well be spot on.

To early to predict anything as others have said. But Kenny played well this year and he is only going to get better. I am extremely confident we will make the playoffs in 2023

I see 11-6… Titans are in transition, very possible Rogers finds a way out of GB, Colts are considering keeping Saturday at HC 🤣, McVay and Stafford future in LA in question, Raiders unknown at QB. Several opponents are quality, solid teams, while several have many unknowns at major positions. 11-6 maybe 10-7, because there’s usually some surprises in the W column, as well as the L column.

If we ever had proof it was a successful season this is it.

"I just don't see it as a successful season. I see it as a season that they didn't make the playoffs. I see it as a season where they think their rookie QB played really well but did not. He is near the bottom of the league in nearly every statistic. He threw 7 touchdowns in 13 games in a league where that's just not how it works."

So, what do you think? Biased or more truth than you'd like to admit?
Maddens takes on football are just to push people’s buttons so they get riled up and listen… I would not read anything into what he says

I will say this over and over and over… there is absolutely, positively, totally and completely no correlation between anything that a rookie qb does and how much of a success or failure they end up…. Most qbs simply never start year 1, of the ones that do, the lists of all time best rookie seasons have busts, average guys, and successful qbs mixed in pretty evenly…

Trying to read anything into anything Pickett did this year is just wishing him to be successful or a failure based on personal bias.

Famously in peyton mannings first 10 starts he threw something like 22 picks. Adjusting to the league is hard, even for “ nfl ready qbs”
This was an uber conservative offense… it wasn’t built to score… it was built not to turn the ball over.. about half picketts picks were directly tied to the receiver, so it wasn’t like he wasn’t reading coverages or anything.. it also didn’t help that the offensive coordinator was forcing things to DJ so much and unwilling to utilize the middle of the field so much… so its going to take another year or two to really judge him

madden is a ********

@CoolieMan and Supe going to the Houston game. Thanks for the tickets, Coolie!

Madden is a deuchebag. I can't stand to read anything he says. So....there's that.

Agreed, Madden is useless. A wannabe edgy idiot. Doesn't matter if the Steelers are winning or losing, he is little more than a non-useful idiot that throws **** against the wall hoping someone will care. Spoiler alert. They don't. It has been forever since I have read any of his useless drivel.

Didn't he have them below 500 before the season started?
