Have we had a Home Season Opener recently on a Thursday/Monday night?

I think that would suck for the Season Ticket holders.
Because the Pirates are at home on Sunday in NFL Week 2 as well. It is Roberto Clemente Day at PNC Park. So if we do play at home opener in Week 2 it would have to be Thursday or Monday and that would suck, but not as much as playing on a ******* Wednesday so close to the end of the Season. Goodell says that the Balt/Pitt Game in the Covid year shows that it can be done.

Yeah Rog, it can be done, but only a dumbass thinks it is a good idea. WTF is wrong with you. Those boos you hear on draft day are not schtick, people really do hate you, Idiotic decisions like this are another reason why.

I just don't see how the NFL can do the things they do in the name of player safety and have games on Wed. or Thursdays. Hypocrites.
Rogass said whoever plays Wednesday will have a Saturday game the previous week so it's no different than Sunday games followed up on a Thursday game. Whoever said Sunday/Thursday was a good idea to begin with. He's a jaggoff.

That's one thing I'll miss about Utah...

I don’t think I’ve ever been to Utah, but I’m going to miss that too.!!!

Looks like we host the Chiefs on Christmas Day. A Wednesday no less. The NFL hates us.

Would you expect anything different?

I never understand why they're worried about the 5,000 fans who are at PNC Park in September.

Have they ever had games on the same day?

No reason for concern here: NFL partnering with gambling groups.
