'89 Steelers

Maybe not but why question reality.....when you can so easily question the hypothetical...

My Senior High School year. I'd love to see anyone who calls today's players wusses jump.into a drill. 340 lb man who runs sub 4.8..Wonder what would happen to you.

I'd get blown up !!!!!

I once tried to get Hulk Hogan to body slam me but he wouldn't and I'm sure it was because of liability reasons. I practically begged him to but he stood firm with a no. I had to just settle for a pic with him. He was pretty kewl about everything. It was about 9pm at the STURGIS Motorcycle Rally just in public walking. 19-mid-80-s. I had to show him to a venue he needed to be but was kind of lost, Him and 2 other guys.

Salute the nation

Great story!

that was the year we started out 0-2 with a 51-0lost to Cleveland correct? We almost beat Denver in the second round of playoffs if I recall
I was at the 51-0 game. It was a lot like our recent playoff loss to the Browns, Steelers giving the ball away, early and often.

Back when Bubby played well and was really getting into a rhythm at QB and Merrill Hoge was a beast

Bubby was underrated. I think he could have taken the Steelers farther than O'Donnell. Yeah, I was a Bubby fan. I still have one of his "Yes, We Can" t-shirts.

Ah, memories.
That Denver playoff game, as someone said above, they kept showing Bubby’s mom and kept harping on the fact he bought her a yellow Cadillac convertible. Even as a fan that made me nauseous.
And what a great coaching job by the Emperor Chaz. WOW!!
