1. Ben should never start. Always bring him in off the bench. With no pressure, Ben is the man!

2. Can we resign Archer please?

3. JJ may disappear, but he always seems to show up on Fumble Recoveries.

4. AB is an All-pro with Ben. Without Ben, he's Wheaton

5. When the worst rushing defense in the league sells out to stop the run, they can do it.

6. You can't get a first down on a defensive offside in a goal to go situation. Half the distance will never equal a first down.

7. Thanks Gilbert for making sure Ben played. I wonder if he had a deal with Big Ben for that one.

8. This was Ben's second game entering as a Backup. His first was when he entered the game for the injured Maddox his rookie year.

9. Ben just had the most yardage passing by a backup entering the game after a starter goes down.

10. Defense is good at limiting points, not so good at limiting yardage.

11.Ben has 280 yards in the first half and only finishes 7 yards ahead of Johnny SuckBall

12. Bryant is the tall receiver Ben has been asking for his whole career.

13. We can get consistent pressure on the QB when Tuitt and Heyward are playing.

14. If you pull a face mask hard enough, the penalty doesn't seem as bad.

15. After a terrible first half, D Will still finished with over 50yrds rushing.

That was one of the worst facemasks I've seen since Keith Gary nearly took Ken Andersen's head off back in 1983.

1. Wheaton is close to the invisible man. Not sure what happened. He showed potential then *poof*. With Brown and Bryant our 3rd WR should be enjoying poor coverage.
2. Williams had a bad game. Im guessing he was not 100%. He looked slower and fumbled.
3. Brown is almost unstoppable and Bryant is the deluxe version of Mike Wallace
4. Manziel may make it as a pro QB. Probably played his best game as a pro even if the score didnt show it.
5. Jacoby Jones should be cut now
6. Give Tyler Murphy a shot at 3rd WR / KR we have nothing to lose.

1. Mike Mitchell has finally come out to play
2. Blake is injured and should not be playing. Can barely lift his arms and it's affecting his ability to tackle.
3. Jacoby Jones makes Dri Archer look serviceable
4. Johnson should be worried. Maybe not this year, but for next year definitely. Nix can actually catch the ball, block, play special teams ... all the things Johnson can do, plus some.

#2 Archer stinks almost as bad as Jones. Let Wheaton return kicks.
#4 Brown is the best receiver on the planet with Ben, and played on an all-pro level with Jones. He just sucks with Vick.
#5 Selling out to stop the run doesn't make any sense when you're allowing the other team to throw for 300 yards in a half.
#10 I'm fine with the defense allowing a ton of yards but few points.
#11 Johnny "Suckball" played pretty well for the most part.
#13 Didn't think they got consistent pressure at all, without blitzing.
#14 That was one hell of a facemask penalty. Old School.
#15 DWill needs to work on his pass-catching skills.

I'm hoping that the game plan going forward is "Put Ben in the shotgun and no huddle" for the rest of the season.

Murphy should be our KR. Jones needs to go the way of Scobie.

Jarvis Jones is never going to be an all pro but he gave Thomas one of the best LT's there is some trouble today. I know consistency is an issue but he can contribute and make plays. Always seems to be around the ball when there is a fumble.

With Deebo out it was good to see Chickillo out there flying around.

Heyward is a beast and Tuitt is not far behind. I think Tuitt has adjusted to the NFL faster than Heyward did so that bodes well for the future.

Just an observation... anyone else see McCullers running about 10 yards down the field to make a tackle. I don't think I've ever seen a human of that size move so quick.

I agree, Jones played pretty well. I saw a few holds that Thomas got away with that Jones basically forced him to make because he was beaten. Jones is not a liability when he is on the field, he's just not dropping QB's left and right. He sets the edge well, is starting to develop some pass rushing moves that work, and has a decent bull rush. He's more Clark Haggans that James Harrison right now.

So if Jarvis turns into Haggans and Dupree into Porter will that be ok? They were a pretty good tandem. Or will his status as a first rounder continue for some to label him a bust?

Bring back Dri. He runs a 4.2 and could probably be back in Pittsburgh in time to catch the flight to Seattle. Jacoby looks like he's been selling crack on the street corner for a few years, or maybe consuming crack that he purchased from someone on the street corner. What exactly had he been doing before we signed him? Did we vet him in any way before signing him? Did we ask him any questions, or throw some balls in his general direction to see how he would react?

Agree, dump Jacoby Jones off at the first rest area. Wow what a waste of time.

And please get Will Allen the **** off the field. Can't cover, no idea of down/distance. Golden was much better.

Ha! Remember that. ****, I'm old.

I was at that game. Missed it since it happened at the other end of the field. But I got to see the INT returned for a TD later.

Well done, Cope. This reminds me of the Redundantman threads without the humor (no offense).

I'd be all for calling up Tyler Murphy to return kicks, be a 4th receiver, and emergency QB

Position flexibility alone, and the fact that I trust him more than some of our other WRs, tells me I'm rooting for him to get a hat

Cleveland was getting away with a LOT of blatant holding all game long.

Hmm, I thought Allen played pretty good yesterday.

And as somebody who has not been a fan of Tomlin, I have to say, well freakin done! He actually worked the clock well, stayed agressive (at least offensively), and overall coached well. Keep it up!

1. Ben should never start. Always bring him in off the bench. With no pressure, Ben is the man!
**Id rather Ben just play the whole game and not be injured

2. Can we resign Archer please?
** No... and why would you want to... this team doesn't need a kickoff guy that specializes in that... they just need someone to get the ball safely and hand it to the Offense... For years when they had a low tempo Offense and the kickoffs were valuable, they would never use a KO guy... now that they are meaningless we have one...wtf?

3. JJ may disappear, but he always seems to show up on Fumble Recoveries.
** Well he has got to justify him being on the field somehow, lol at least he has field awareness...

4. AB is an All-pro with Ben. Without Ben, he's Wheaton
Nope, he still gets just as open, we just don't have QBs who can throw the ball to a spot with good timing... that wasn't Vicks game and Landry makes one read and throws... Niether really fit Browns forte

5. When the worst rushing defense in the league sells out to stop the run, they can do it.

**Every single NFL team is a set of college all stars... they absolutely can scheme to stop any one thing, and usually two, but then you let other aspects run wild

6. You can't get a first down on a defensive offside in a goal to go situation. Half the distance will never equal a first down.
**Yep, that's why Troy took chances in that situation all the time

7. Thanks Gilbert for making sure Ben played. I wonder if he had a deal with Big Ben for that one.
**earned his watch this year... mostly from good play though...lol

8. This was Ben's second game entering as a Backup. His first was when he entered the game for the injured Maddox his rookie year.
**Yep and was the only loss that year til the Cheaters

9. Ben just had the most yardage passing by a backup entering the game after a starter goes down.

** and the most he has ever had in the first half, and he should have had at least 141 yards more

10. Defense is good at limiting points, not so good at limiting yardage.
** One matters, the other does not... the thing is the safety play with Allen in there is slow... it matters more on a long field than a short one...

11.Ben has 280 yards in the first half and only finishes 7 yards ahead of Johnny SuckBall...
**again 141 yards of PI, and all but 35 of that in the second half, and Manzel had an untypically calm and solid game...

12. Bryant is the tall receiver Ben has been asking for his whole career.
** if he stays clean and learns how to prep from Brown he has the chance to be the most dynamic of this era... and I am not exaggerating... his speed and size all aready evident, and his routes are getting better... he has good quickness for a big man... he just really needs focus.

13. We can get consistent pressure on the QB when Tuitt and Heyward are playing.
** the Browns tried to single those guys at times... it mostly ended poorly for them

14. If you pull a face mask hard enough, the penalty doesn't seem as bad.
its the same 15 yarder if you let go quickly or break his neck now... there was a reason the old 5 yarder existed... but the NFL is stupid so....

15. After a terrible first half, D Will still finished with over 50yrds rushing They eventually had to Double Brown and Bryant and still cover wheaton and Miller... the move to make is to spread out teams and try to cutback run on them with Williams, not power it down their throats now... the passing game opens the run game up now
