Saudi Nuclear Deal Raises Stakes for Iran Ta
lks

As U.S. and Iranian diplomats inched toward progress on Tehran’s nuclear program last week, Saudi Arabia quietly signed its own nuclear-cooperation agreement with South Korea.

That agreement, along with recent comments from Saudi officials and royals, is raising concerns on Capitol Hill and among U.S. allies that a deal with Iran, rather than stanching the spread of nuclear technologies, risks fueling it.

Saudi Arabia’s former intelligence chief, Prince Turki al-Faisal, a member of the royal family, has publicly warned in recent months that Riyadh will seek to match the nuclear capabilities Iran is allowed to maintain as part of any final agreement reached with world powers. This could include the ability to enrich uranium and to harvest the weapons-grade plutonium discharged in a nuclear reactor’s spent fuel.

The deal between Saudi Arabia and South Korea is for electricity. The UAE signed the same deal 5 years ago with South Korea and
is now building its first two reactors. South Korea has one of the better plant designs and is becoming one of the top nuclear
electricity experts.

Are you aware that South Korea doesn't even have its own nuclear weapon?

Are you aware that means nothing?

Maybe Obama's real plan is to arm every Muslim country with nukes.

Saudi nuclear weapons 'on order' from Pakistan

Saudi Arabia has invested in Pakistani nuclear weapons projects, and believes it could obtain atomic bombs at will.

While the kingdom's quest has often been set in the context of countering Iran's atomic programme, it is now possible that the Saudis might be able to deploy such devices more quickly than the Islamic republic.

Earlier this year, a senior Nato decision maker told me that he had seen intelligence reporting that nuclear weapons made in Pakistan on behalf of Saudi Arabia are now sitting ready for delivery.

You know what one of the by products of spent reactor fuel is? You can move to the head of the class if you know.

One of the by products is plutonium, but if the reactor is used normally, its reactor grade and not weapons grade. That's why there has
to be continual inspections of reactor sites.

The reason the Iran deal is important is because if it fails, all the Middle Eastern countries will want a weapon, and then it will be
a matter of time before they start going off. Saudi Arabia already has a deal with Pakistan to acquire one, but will not if an Iran
deal is reached. They don't want one unless Iran has one. The reason Iran is willing to reach a deal is because they know they
will eventually be less safe if everyone has one.

PS As a side note most of Iran's government leaders, not religious leaders, have degrees from US Universities. That's why the
Senate letter was particularly amusing to them. Back in the day, they had the most students attending our Universities than any
other Middle Eastern country. That's why Iranian citizens tend to like Americans while not liking moves by our government.

Regardless of what 'deal' is reached, Iran will continue to pursue a nuclear weapon.

Iran will continue to pursue a nuclear weapon........

To kill all the Jews

Obama's Jew hating Muslim Brotherhood plans sound the same - the world won't be a safer place till he's out of office

Did you know that the Germans and French helped the Iranians move their refining operations more than a mile deep underground?
Enrichment facilities may exist that are quite separate from the reactor facilities. Every despot knows this.

We're gettin' ready to see I guess.

You chicken little war hawks are all so untrusting. Why shouldn't every insane, murdering, Beelzebub looking Nazi ******* jagoff in the world have cheap, affordable electricity?
