Cause from everything i read seen heard watched.... Its howard who isnt going anywhere.

The problem is we arent sure if they are serious about Howards value or if they are blowing smoke trying to play the PR game or increase his trade value

I disagree Ron.

AAron is here for one thing.. winning it all. They think he still can with the improved cast.

Besides that, their other task is to find the next franchise, and develop the two young guys.

Not sure im confusing what i think they should do,, with what they will do though.

I do think they keep all four till mid camp or late. Unless Allar shats the bed. THEN they keep Rudolph, if theyre sure Allar isnt future franchise material.

Just calling him QB2 so as to get the higher snap count for evaluation.

I know you’ve heard all the scenarios involved, I’ve heard the smoke too.

It’s not like he’s been the beneficiary of solid coaching ever, until now, in his pro career

He's a 30-yo career backup, has never flashed franchise QB ability. The Steelers need to find their next franchise QB and he's in the way.

To be fair, that 3-game season ending to make the playoff stint, was flashing.

It’s not his fault the Tomlin reverted back to the **** scheme for the playoff loss.

I’m not writing any QB off yet due to the new scheme and renown coaching staff difference.

Khan has shown himself to buck traditional ways of Steeler thinking in the past few years but cutting Allar loose or trying to sneak him thru to the practice squad after a spending a 3rd round pick on him would be a very un-Steeler like thing to do no matter how he’s looking

I don’t think they carry 4 QBs either so I think Howard or Rudolph gets cut or traded sometime in camp
