AFC North Division

possibility.

The only possibility hinges on Smith's offense putting up points at will. Sooner or later this defense will shat the bed.

We have gone the whole season 15 weeks or whatever thinking we will see more and more of this offense.. Thinking that it will get better and better.
Some games earlier we could run the ball. Now we cant. The passing game is hit or miss. I still dont understand what Smith is doing.. I have kept on thinking ill get it sooner or later.. Sooner or later it will all come together. It hasnt. Not yet. It's possible i guess ,, but my paitence has worn thin.
He has to put this offense together to run smooth and take advantage of Rodgers skills, and be able to run the ball.

Tonights possibility also hinges on stopping Achan.
Anyway enjoy the game guys.
I agree, though I am talking about getting past the first round. I don't think we can beat anyone past that. Too many scrubs at W.R.
and an inconsistent O-line. Forget about the defense, like you said it's about putting up points, and this team will struggle doing that against the better playoff teams.

We just need to enjoy what's left of the season and expect nothing...maybe Santa will surprise us all.

Smith is making me a believer tonight. I hope I'm not wrong
We see what we saw tonight every once in a while. It is basically what fans have been calling for several years now. It is mind blowing that we don't see it more often. Middle of the field, get everyone involved, etc etc. Rodgers had multiple guys open on several plays tonight. When we use the middle everything opens up

Tomlin rides a teeter totter. That's funny.

Ravens fans over on various ratbird message-boards are hyping their chances of beating New England because
A. Its at home
B. The Pats are just 2-2 vs winning teams
Of course I didnt have the heart to tell em that
A. The Ravens are 3-5 at home this year
B. The Ravens are 1-5 vs teams with winning records...

You could also mention they are not a winning team, you know, sitting at 7-7.

We missed you
We are in such familiar territory like we’ve been for such a long time.
Think about it…. Does anyone here really think this team can even win one playoff game?
No, what will happen is another middle of the pack draft position. Never good enough to really compete but never bad enough to get a top 5 or 10 draft pick.
Teams like the Pats, Broncos, Colts, Texans and others have already sunk to lower depths, got premium picks and rebuilt, and now got back near the top.
We on the other hand stay right smack in the mushy middle. It’s going in circles that’s all.
Poor ownership, lack of direction and absolutely zero identity and poor team culture.
Not a team leader to be found. Fat boy Hayward is still mad about Josh Allen kneeing him in his fat stomach. Teams a ******* joke!
All led by clown Tomlin!
Missed you last night...

And that Lamar has checked out...I see them winning 1 of the 3 remaining - possibly...
Why do you think he has checked out? I took it he was just battling injuries for a large chunk of the season…

I kind of want the season finale to be meaningful but it’s not looking likely at this point.
Meh. I love seeing the rats in a no win situation. If that last game matters, my money would have to go on the rats, as they seem to have more moxie than we do. Not sure this team could step up to the same level the rats can when needed.

We missed you

Missed you last night...
Nice win but be careful. If I were you, I wouldn’t get too invested in this team. They have three tough games coming up. At Detroit, at Cleveland where they seem to come apart, and finish up with the Ravens.
Ravens are not out if this by any stretch!

Why do you say he has checked out? He has looked better the last couple weeks than all season. Earlier in the season he had no speed/quickness or escapability. He showed glimpses against us and was better at cincy. He is getting healthy at the right time

Watch him. Reality of "getting old and the game is catching me" is written all over his face - week in and week out.

Yeah, he can still escape on occasion but the explosion is starting to fizzle.

Also, when things go bad (and sitting at .500 ain't good) he sulks and pouts... so, IMO, he's checked out because truth be told - it's going to take a miracle for them to win the last 3 games...

Too late. Never say die. We're going to the playoffs and we're going to win a game.

Write it down.

We shall see! They still have to make the playoffs and that’s going to take consistency, something they’ve not been in a long time.
Three tough games coming up and have to win two of them.
If they get to the playoffs who do you think they can beat? The Bills, the Texans, the Chargers? Idk, you’re asking a lot from a Tomlin coached team!

My goodness. How a Monday night win, against a team that can't win a game in the cold if their lives depend on it, hath quickened the soul.... :ROFLMAO:

Sorry Bermuda, I will stick to the "cautious optimism" that this team has forced me to embrace the last decade.

I agree Berm. He has been a stud, but the reality of his game is catching up to him, and he knows it, IMO.

Decade? You're generous.

I saw enough last night to ask …Who would be uncomfortable if AR called his own game? Not me.
I keep hoping for this. I'm convinced it's why Ben had so many 4th quarter comebacks. He simply ignored the stupid, and did what needed done.

Ben was there last night. I wonder if he had a little advice for Aaron.

We are still where we aren't supposed to be. And by that I mean every expert had us finishing last in the division. We should enjoy the fact we are competing at this point, and have no expectations.

If you don't think like that this team will make any fan want to jump off a bridge.

It's all gravy. That's the way I see it, till Tomlin is gone.

Wait, every expert had us finishing below Cleveland? I suppose I would just have to find one counter-example to prove that, like the first link I found in Google.

We're tracking 9-8/10-7, right where predicted. The Ravens and Bengals' QB (and other) injury woes have doomed them.

The magic number is 3... any combo of +1 steeler wins +1 ravens losses = 3 will get us the Division...
If we beat the Ravens, we win the division regardless of what else happens. If we win the next two and they lose the next two we win without beating them that is the only path without winning week 18. If the Ravens win this week everything else is meaningless except beating them. The Browns game becomes meaningless.
