Trump says a lot of things about his taxes & finances. If he wasn't running for president, it would be nobody's business. He'll soon be back to being a casino & hotel guy with a ****** up toupee. From that point forward he can get back to doing whatever the **** he wants. Cooking the books, nefarious foreign business deals, bedding down with Putin and Russian oligarchs. All that will be of no concern of ours.

The thing is going to a flat tax or the FairTax eliminates the issue but the Neo-Socialists refuse to give up the power of the tax code. Congress loves to use taxes to control people.

I personally think the Fair Tax makes more sense and isn't as easy to stick a VAT on. Either one is too simplified though and takes power away from govt and will be fought tooth and nail... just like 'D' says.
