First Team- Broderick Jones. Seems to be on pace to allow essentially the sack record against. They run a few token outside zones that never work to his side. They will do the usual. Not pick up his fifth and he will get benched halfway through '26
Keannu Benton- just gets blown off the ball.
Roman Wilson- non existent. How could a third round talent possibly be this bad. He has one garbage time target.
Second team
Patrick Queen and Payton Wilson. They dont tackle. They just punch at it. Wilson I will give a little leeway. Patrick Queen was brought in to be a unit.
Washington: His blocking is a narrative. Really watch him. Most plays he doesn't even find anyone.
Muth: Hall of famer QB looking for answers. Shouold be in the 15 to 10 range best TE. Bottom 20 for sure.

I’ve been concentrating on #77 Broderick Jones these first three weeks. I just don’t understand how he can be this bad now in his third season.
Actually both these tackles aren’t playing well which leads me to believe it’s related to the OL coaching.
How can we miss on both tackles? They both should be dominating especially against lesser teams.
I constantly see Jones standing around not blocking anyone especially on running plays. He just doesn’t look ready to play at this level.
Benton on the other hand I just think has no business playing NT. He gets zero push and would be better utilized kicked to tackle.
Queen was a mistake signing! I don’t think he’s much on coverage or stopping the run. Lot of money for little in return.

Arthur Smith has gotta go! I'm sorry 4 wide is a spread offense with speed guys to create space underneath.....anytime the Steelers go 4 wide we have 3 TE's in there. WTAF are they thinking? You've got 3 guys in a spread offense who are lucky if they have 4.7 speed. That's just not going to work! Where is Roman Wilson? If he saw 10 snaps today I'd be amazed.....I don't even think Calvin Austin has 20 snaps today and he's our #2 WR.

Keanu Benton based on his performance today he shouldn't even get a helmet on gameday! The kid is absolutely terrible....and I do mean terrible! He had 2 plays today where he did something besides getting blown off the line of scrimmage and pushed right out of the play.

Patrick Queen missed 5 tackles today....I don't care if he had 10 tackles....he missed 5 more today!

Its the coach ... go look at the social mefia responses when he was booted out of carolina...

He took over a chargers team in 17 that was gave up 18 sacks using the old techniques abd systems... the next two years the sacks climbed over 30 ... he took over a meh line in carolina and when they fired him it was after they had given up 52 sacks... his stuff just doesnt work

Of course Coach Knows Everything hires him as our OL coach. This guy couldn’t assemble a competent staff if his life depended on it. Unreal!
Then he promotes the infamous Terrell Austin to DC but lets Brian Flores walk.

So looks like they've whiffed on the 3rd round WR and Kabeb likewise in the rookie doghouse as a scapegoat.

It simply cannot be that all these premium pick players are all bad. At what point do they start looking at the position coaches?
Geez! You have two first round tackles, a second round center, fourth round guard. Can they all be bad or is it just they’re not being coached up.
Then you have third round picks Roman Wilson who can’t get on the field and Caleb Johnson who isn’t exactly a speed merchant returning kicks.
Something is most definately not right and the front office needs to dig into this coaching staff.

I think they should have left him where he was and put Fautanu at left. I realize Troy hasn't been great. But hes still significantly better. Seems like they went with the home run play hoping Jones could be better then good at LT. They groundrd into a double play.

I’d like to actually see Roman Wilson actually used. Why they don’t let him return kicks, just to get him in the game, get a feel for it. He returned kicks in Michigan. Feels like he never plays any snaps.
Unless the kid is just absolutely horrible in practice or an absolute A-hole,I just don’t get it.

This is an organizational fail. Rooney and the co-GMs needed to have a come to Jesus meeting with Tomlin and tell him Flores is staying and running his D, you stay the F out of it.
I think we’ve all thought this. Maybe it was just that Flores never wanted to come back . Love to know what really happened. Obviously they never offered him the job…or if they did,he just didn’t want it.

Flores, Munchak, Arians and Lebeau all left and we're better than any that came after them.

Guessing they didn’t do what I suggested, told him to run Mike’s D.

Addressing the OL, it is 100%scheme/coaching. Jones rookie year, he started against Baltimore due to injury and played VERY well. Since then he's been "coached" and regressed. And it's not just him. Seumalo just looks completely lost out there . I saw him behind the play, in the backfield on various running plays.

We draft and sign big nasty road graters, and then run an outside zone, finesse blocking scheme. More of Tomlin shoving square pegs in round holes.

Benton, another player out of position. You have a DT playing NT, and a NT playing DT.

Today, I saw what I've been saying about Austin, he's a really solid WR3. He can make some big plays, but not consistently enough to be a WR2. Roman Wilson rarely sees the field, and we keep sending RB back to return kicks.

My dad says, I hate games that we need some major play during the 2 min warning to win. But it's been that way for 4-5 years now. It's hard to watch

I can't believe Roman Wilson isn't good enough to get some playing time.

We're a low IQ organization.

We have to endure the bottom falling out, and probably next year, too, in order to get passed the Tomlin stupidity. It's exasperating.
Unfortunately I believe it will be a minimum of 2 years, and more than likely 4. The QB carousel that we have been going through for the last 5 years is not even close to being resolved. Without that guy there is no chance we are competing against the upper echelons in the league. That’s reality,it sucks DJ, I’m not getting any younger. We can hope for surprises and maximum effort.

Tomlin is only a handful of wins away from Chuck's all time regular season victory total. A few more away from 200. I truly believe this is why Rooney gave Tomlin his last extension.

Has nothing to do with either. Its more likely they gave him the extension to get the all time non losing streak then either of those two reasons. If he wins out through the current extension he will have that record. The Steelers as an organization will pass up the Cowboys for the streak at the end of this season assuming no complete collapses.

Another couple examples from yesterday. They started using Holcomb in high probability run situations. But a couple short yardage plays you saw Wilson still in. Then once they had a third tackle to the right. Anderson. And Washington too. You could see they had numbers to the right. 4 on three. They ran left.
