It has to be 30+ years ago, but I sat next to him on a USAir flight from Pgh to Phx, and I agree, he was very open to conversation on the flight.

It was so long ago my brain is a bit fuzzy, I'm sure it involved football and kids, small talk to be polite, I don't recall finance. He was part of a group of Steelers that played in a celebrity basketball game at my high school in the late 60's. I knew (know) Dick Hoak (a friend of my Dad's) and he introduced Andy to the 16 year old me, but just to say hi.

I totally missed this and wouldn't have known if it hadn't popped up in my youtube feed. Seems like it couldn't have possibly been that long since I was watching him play. RIP
