Andy will interview with the Atlanta Falcons for GM.
I hate this and would prefer Andy be promoted here to be our GM,
Don’t think Omar is that good of a GM. He’s an accountant by profession and very good numbers man.
Andy is a personnel man and fits the description of a GM.
I don’t like this!
 
I'm curious to see how Mike McCarthy could work as a personnel man with Kahn as the check writer...
 
HuGE mistake if the Andy rides off.


I think Andy had a huge hand in getting us this far even with the Tomlin factor.

Too bad thay can’t iron out him to GM and give Kahn a sub-president title to appease him………….

There goes the some of the hope.

I always thought they should have hired Weidl instead of Khan at GM, but it seemed like they had promised Khan he would replace Colbert some time before it actually happened.

Not that I didnt think Khan was deserving. He probably was, as finance is part of the GM job, but what football he knows was strongly influenced by Tomlin and Colbert.

They just needed a fresh perspective from outside the organization, like when they replaced Tom Donahoe with Colbert in 2000.

Any of that they've gotten from Weidl might be leaving with him, but maybe they'll hire someone else to fill the role.
 
I’ve always been concerned about this and would have hoped they would have moved Omar to something like VP of Financial Operations. Give him staff and more money and promote Andy to GM.
If Omar balks and doesn’t like it, oh well. What’s the worse case here, he walks. So what!

They would replace Weidl. I think many of us believe Weidl's done very well since coming to Pittsburgh. The draft strategy shifted to build like the Eagles by focusing on the trenches and drafting premium positions with premium picks.
 
Not Steelers related and I had to search for articles to make sure this wasn't AI. Absolutely wild comments by the Bills' owner regarding the draft and Keon Coleman.

How unprofessional. Hey come coach with the Bills I can’t guarantee when we get tired of you that we won’t air your dirty laundry but hey you get to coach here.

Not sure for me that this would now be an attractive place to coach. As I know even if I win 8 playoff games in 6 years they will can me and then talk ****.

Yeah completely lame and he should want out. The Bills also had a draft special with the GM talking about drafting Coleman and it didn't look like he was just playing along, being a team player.

He also said he made the decision to fire McDermott based on the Denver game.

So, how is Allen still employed?
 
Coleman, 400 yards and 4 TDs. Those are superstar numbers here lol
 
Why isnt Omar Khan fired is what i wanna know. He should have been axed the moment Coach Tomlin retired.

Why? I think he has done a damn good job aside from the trials of getting a 2nd receiver. Things have been better with him in charge.
 
Its very rare to fire HC and GM same time. You need GM in place to help hire HC. That said Omar is more of a money guy than a football guy. Without Weidel and Tomlin telling him what to do good and bad.......we'll have to see
