Another reason why the Steelers made the right choice with Brown vs Wallace contract

he's a cry baby. Good luck with that dolphins

Its not even close right now when you compare AB to MW. We got Brown at a steal and just produced the best season ever by a Steeler receiver. Not to mention, he is prolific kick returner. Just a tremendous athlete.

Thank God he said No to the Vikings and took less cash-money to play in Miami.

why is that good for us? vikings, dolphins, what's the difference?

Max is from Minnesota. I think he just didn't want to have to watch Wallace **** the bed every season.

Like Tomlin said, one trick pony. And apparently that trick is being a selfish cry baby.

But I thought Brown only got open because everyone always double teamed Wallace lol

I was watching the game with a Dolphins fan, he was telling me he thought Wallace had matured into a good team player.

Not 5 minutes later, the running back for the Phins is fighting for first down on the jets sideline against 3 defenders and Wallace just casually walks off the field ignoring the play as it's still progressing. He's a self centered quitter and the Steelers are so much better off without him.

He's headed towards a big case of humble pie.

When he gets released a few times and starts getting labeled a "quitter" and the free agency offers dry up and are half what he thinks he's worth, he'll come around. They all do (probably too late though).

If I were in charge, he would be gone.

I was glad when they let him walk because of his attitude and not showing any inclination to want to round out his game beyond running one pattern. I'm still glad. He's the anti- Anotnio Brown

I'm sure it's absolutely KILLING him that Brown is leading the league right now.

I will always blame Stonio for the player Wallace became. He mirrored many of his contract demands and focus. Had he worked at his routes he could have been a truly great one. He chose money over success though... hope he is happy with that....

I'm glad we kept Brown, but let's not forget we offered Wallace that contract first.
This usually happens when wrs go for the money at a place without a QB.

Before the season started we had to offer Wallace a contract. It wasnt until the season started that he became a selfish ***. His attitude is what made me sour on him. Team first is not a concept he understands.

Wallace "wants more balls thrown his way"?

Why, so he can lead the NFL in dropped passes? He sure as hell is not going to lead the league in receptions.

Did you see his post game interview?

He had another receiver answering questions for him like his lawyer!!

How old are you dude?

what a immature infant... man am I glad he is gone. That is one selfish entitled overpaid infant who throws a fit when he doesn't get his way.

Then cant even answer for himself and has to have another grown man speak for him while he sits there like a scared little biatch!!

That and he tanked his last year here and simply played not to get hurt.

Thank GOD our front office knew to pass. In hindsight, they were foolish in trying to sign him to ANY extension. He is a team chemistry cancer. We all saw this coming. Not only will he begin his fall, in terms of less teams wanting to sign him, but he will end up totally broke, like TO and Chad Johnson. It's coming.

That. plus he doesn't look quite as good when he doesn't have as good a QB throwing to him. He wasn't going to sign here no matter what since he was going to break the bank as a FA. I always thought Brown was a more complete receiver anyway (and a team guy). Hines Ward 2.0 with more speed. I don't dislike Wallace, I think he was a great player while he was here except for his last season, but it is what it is.

We dodged a bullet with he declined our contract offer. We gave Brown pretty much the same deal. Had Wallace signed probably Brown would be playing somewhere else now.

For the record I wanted AB over wallace. One of the few correct calls I have made regarding the Steelers in the past few years. I was tepid about drafting Bell, I wanted Tomlin fired a few weeks ago, and I thought Ben would never mature under Haley.
