That. plus he doesn't look quite as good when he doesn't have as good a QB throwing to him. He wasn't going to sign here no matter what since he was going to break the bank as a FA. I always thought Brown was a more complete receiver anyway (and a team guy). Hines Ward 2.0 with more speed. I don't dislike Wallace, I think he was a great player while he was here except for his last season, but it is what it is.
He was fine until his final season, and then I believe his tude had a lot to do with overall lack of team chemistry. It wasn't all his fault, but a lot was. The "Young Money" thing got stupid and it infected Sanders and Brown to some degree. More than one player commented that the team lacked unity that season. I don't believe they found it until midway this season. Actually, they already began feeling it in the preseason, as many commented on it months before the season started, but the positive impact didn't really come into full force until half way through this season. A team has to be very strong to shrug off the negative impact of a "me, me, me" guy. I can be done, but it's not easy. Brown has been sensational, period. He is a total pro and incredibly skilled. I wouldn't trade him for ANY other WR in the NFL at this point.
