Leal is out for the season on IR, so he’s his replacement. He compares to what LaMarr Woodley was.

Hopefully Leal doesn’t eat himself out of playing in the league like Wood did. He and Deebo were a great combo.

I'm thinking packages with Heyward and Benton on the line with Watt and Highsmith on the ends and Herbig or Preston lined up a few yards behind the D-line with the intention of picking a gap and running through it to the QB. Or, Watt or Highsmith could be the one lined up in the middle off the line. Just spitballing here. Preston is a big body if he has any legs to have there in the middle to help with the run or pin his ears back and shoot an open gap to the QB.

We definitely need either Kenneth Grant or Deone Walker in rnd 1 to eventually replace Cam. Both are massive coke machine guys who can move. As a Michigan diehard Grant, he looks like he could develop into a any-spot DL similar to Wilfork and wreak havoc.
