Antonio Brown Opens Up About Playing Behind Hines Ward in 2010: “Hurry up and get out the way”

We have a chain store gas station here in my home town and it's spelled Common Cents. My brother came home to visit, hadn't been here in 15 years. He and I were driving around showing him the changes here. He lived in SC and we went by common cents. He says hey this new here and I replied " you don't have Comon Cents in the south and he replied NO we don't.................................. I started laughing a lot and he got it, kind of a special laugh and joke so at times I spell it that way.

This was about 20 nyears ago.

Ah I see

^^^^^^^^
Falco is spot on absolute here. Hines got more satisfaction stoning someone on a block than scoring a TD. There are several highlights of Hines destroying a DB or LB on a play and he just screams with exclamation over it.

I heard a Rodney Harrison radio interview several years ago where he talked about his favorite players and he mentioned two - Troy Polamalu and Hines Ward. Harrison said that he hammered Ward one play and Ward popped up, said, "Okay, you wanna go, let's go!" Later in the game Ward rocks Harrison with a block. Said Ward was basically the only WR who responded to his hits by hitting back rather than whining to the refs.

For the last few months Antonio Brown has been in the headlines for a number of reasons—but it’s his latest comments while on a podcast that have stirred up a fair amount of controversy. During a recent podcast interview, Antonio Browngave his thoughts on a few issues…including his belief that there is “no racism” in America.

While taking a quick break from promoting his recently released new music (as his hiatus from football continues) and commenting on Colin Kaepernick, Antonio Brown decided to discuss another topic. Speaking on the ‘We In Miami’ podcast, Antonio had some very controversial statements regarding racism that immediately exploded on social media with intense backlash

Confidently and proudly proclaiming that racism no longer exists, Antonio Brown said “You don’t have to have self-pity, there is no racism, you can do what you want in America.” To further drive home his point, he used the fact that he received a $100 million-dollar football contract as proof that racism is a thing of the past.

As expected, the backlash from his comments was met with widespread negative responses, specifically as many pointed out that he was singing an entirely different tune at the beginning of the year when he walked off the field in the middle of a game and went on to cite the racism in the NFL as one of the reasons.

Meanwhile, earlier this month Antonio verbally unloaded on Colin Kaepernick with more controversial statements. He called the former NFL star “trash” and said that he “doesn’t want to play” in the league anymore because he took a deal with the sports organization. As of now, Kaepernick has not publicly responded to his comments.
