Over the weekend videos emerged of Antonio Brown training in Florida with Chad Johnson. He appeared to be running with ease and without anything protecting his injured calf.

Great news....one of the best and most exciting players in the entire NFL.

I was very confident when they got the bye. Less so when they showed the treadmill video. Hopefully he is completely healed. 3 weeks would have helped turf toe too.

He sounds less positive then reports. Said he moved pretty well and paricipated in most drills. Expect him to be questionable on the injury report.

I'm sure the cold won't help much either

Damn. Way to bring down a thread quick.

Well I don't want him half assing it out there. If he can't go then don't and keep getting better for AFCCG. We're going to beat Jaxsonville with or with out him but it's just easier to do with him.

I take tracking injuries so seriously that I do the Spreadsheet for each and every Steeler injury.

I'm glad AB was on the field. He was limited by the report as he did not take part in all of the drills.

He's wearing compression socks with shin guards over his calves. The one thing I did not like about the videos. When the Steelers were doing lateral hip rotations (Crossovers), AB was jogging. This movement would put a lot of strain on his lower legs, and he didn't attempt them. All of these tell me he's still working his way back. If we played tomorrow, I don't think he would play.

I want to see more, and I'm not getting over excited until he can make it through an entire practice as a full participant. Today he was not.

Thanks for your input Cope !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm in the boat that I hope he is capable of knowing if he is help or hindrance. I know if it is obvious he will know it's a no go. If it is close though,
will his ego let him say no go???? Remember an injured player that's close thinks he can help when reality he may not be able to. AB would have to be near 90% with this type injury
as its a re-injury probability and like I've said elsewhere, ifhe can't go it's OK as we can win this week without him.

Practice will dictate availability. If he isn't at least a full practice participant Friday, then he doesn't get the nod. I think he is pointed in the right direction though. We'll see.

I think it helps we play Sunday...that extra day of rest could be big.

I'm glad to hear, but I don't see much Change of Direction. If he can't wiggle, he can't play. That's all I'm looking for, hard cuts, hard plants, twists and change of direction.

Also, Haden could run fast in a straight line, the last week he was limited in practice, and didn't play vs the Pats. There is a parallel here. It's the same calf area of the body.

I hear ya, he was cutting in the video with Chad Johnson. Hopefully we barely need to use him because we are able to run the ball
