Yeah, the 67 unis would have black helmets with gray face masks. Gray face masks haven’t been worn in over 50 years.

You are right Drink, they used them (only once) on the NYJ game last year. Completely forgot about that.

Interesting. Art 2 said new throwback jersey and new throwback helmet are to be used. So I’m not sure what other helmet since they won’t use the Black or Gold helmets as repeats.

I thought I’d seen an article talking about the new and improved helmet, but being gold in color. Could have been one of them A.I. generated articles so take it for what it’s worth.

I’m curious about the different throw-back, but not interested enough to go out and spend hard earned $$$coin$$$ on any of it.

1974 is the all time boss uni, love the gray facemasks. Anything from the 70’s would do, though, an era when they won playoff games.

The Joe Greene pic, I think we lost that game. May of been his rookie year or 2nd. I remember reading he was so upset with losing he went to the sideline after a series in the Eagles’ game, went to the trainer’s toolbox, grabbed a screwdriver and tried to return to the field. Had to be restrained lol. Joe hated losing even though he was the best player on the field, almost left the team even when they were becoming competitive. Wonder how he would have felt playing for the Steelers over the past decade?

I think so too.
The Eagles were wearing dark jerseys there, so that game was at the Eagles. The last time we won in Philly was 1965 believe it or not. That’s got to be an NFL record.
Greene as we all know was drafted in 1969.
