He is on a 6 month or so vacation doing what ever he pleases. His hard work got him in that position.

- Control a locker room Don't agree with this one, in fact I completely disagree and think he held together the Locke room extremely well and got more out of many players Like Bell and Brwon than any other coach ever did. He also never lost the locker room even when they faced in season adversity showing in his regular season record.

- Beat inferior teams This one is statistically total bullshit. He had a record that was as good as most top coaches against bad teams. I will grant a few more than normal losses in recent years but in his total career he had an excellent record against teams who finished the season with a losing record which is far better stat than their record at the time of playing them.

- Beat good teams Regular Season he was ******* excellent in big games most of his career often winning games he was the underdog in.

- Win a playoff game in a decade Yes This one hurts but I think he was smart enough to realize he was holding on too tight and lost his edge which led to him retiring. Most coaches though wouldn't have even been in many of those games to lose them, which is a positive and a negative when it comes to drafting

- Groom QBs Lots of great coaches never groomed a QB most great QBs come from being lucky enough to draft high. ******* Noll never groomed another QB after Bradshaw and Cowher got Lucky with Ben.

- Manage the play clock Another one that is proximity bias. Almost every franchise's fans say the same damn thing about their own coach. Even Belicheat had terrible time management games sprinkled in to good ones. Vrabel had genius moves and terrible moves. I remember quite a few games Tomlin made great moves and games where he made bad ones. He was no worse than the majority of coaches.
