Are there any holdovers from Juicman Jr's "Steelerwatch.com" board?

I'm curious if anyone is left from that bygone era of the early 2000s.

BLEEDS is the only name I recognize.

That group originated from TSN's (The Sporting News) Steelers forum, which was shut down in '98 or so. Juice started his own board, which lasted a couple years, then merged with Steelernation. Those were interesting times as the two groups bumped heads.

Is there anyone else still around from that time, I wonder...

My first user name was "Stlr4evr." I started with the old TSN board, and have been posting with SN since the TSN board ended. And I certainly remember Juiceman, Jr. ... as well as Coach, and PittRon, and Bengalzrulz.

He was over the top a ton, but I have to give credit where credit is due ... the guy wanted the Steelers to draft TE Jason Peters because the guy was an elite blocker.

Of course, Coach also insisted that Troy Polamalu would never be a worthwhile NFL player, let alone a future Hall-of-Famer.

I have been here since most of the guys that came here came from the old steelers board when the moderators of said board became a real bunch of jaggoffs. My former handle was wreckman, as I used to reconstruct traffic accidents then.

Ahhh yes, Haven, Tank, Still Mill, Blitz, Palmer Sucks and the like. Those guys made the Anti-Tomlin guys on this site look like Ballchinian Nut Huggers. Especially when it came to wanting Cowher gone. I wandered onto that site around 2000 and they were just ripping Cowher a new one every minute.

It's like a ghost town over there now.

Then, about a year later, it came back (with the same name). But it wasn't/isn't the same.

That's where I started out but after a couple years it went to hell due to lack of moderator participation, I'm talking about people posting Nazi propaganda and pics of Hitler and pile of bodies in concentration camps like that was a good thing. You'd report posts but nothing would ever happen. Ultimately it got rebooted and cleaned up but then I couldn't register to get back on. It would tell me to register, then when I tried to do that it would say my screen name was already in use. If I clicked on "forgot password" it would say that screen name was not in use. I said the hell with it and found this place. I only recently re-registered there (as Ron Burgundy) but I don't post much. Some real crackpots were there though, may still be, if anyone thinks we're harsh on Shades here that's nothing compared to what people on Stillers used to say about Cowher and Kordell.

Worilds is now our Gildong. Good enough to start in a weak LB corps, but utterly replaceable if a genuine talent emerges. HoJo anyone?
