Are there any holdovers from Juicman Jr's "Steelerwatch.com" board?

I was on Dave's site during the merger. Making fun of Hank the Tank was great fun in those days.

i was on steelerwatch during the merger. i remember hating the new format.

Yeah, the old thread style format was just unsustainable. The forum format was just too feature rich to leave alone.

But I felt the same way. Not being able to read all the responses up front felt like being in a cage.

Yes the Gil-Dong report. Lol. He went to Woodley next and now Worlids has the honor of being the most hated.

I may have been a touch harsh on Gildon.

He recorded double digit sacks 3 times, made the Pro Bowl 3 times, and is currently the Steelers Career leader in sacks. Which I should have known but somehow didn't.

I remember visiting the official sites board....I guess a group split because of issues with the moderator. I forgot her name...the lady that Steelers.com message board...Vannessa? Anyway that's when I followed everyone to Steeler Nation.

Dave, TMC, Coach, Hank The Tank (he was from Florida but a Browns fan not sure why- he was an idiot) DaBus (life was hard for him after 911) Spike (who is with us still)

There was a ton of "interesting " users and it did make the board fun...I never really posted that much but reading the board after games was priceless.

Hey what was the ne of that Bengal fan that didn't make any sense at all? Talked slang that no one understood wtf he's talking about.

Probably not, the Gildong reports were just great and the fact that they seemed to morph into lots of other threads.

I am thinking it was either blackjesus or bengalzrules?
But I remember the posts and the translations that showed up later were a scream

The description of Jason Gildon's pass rush as looping around the Horn of Africa was pretty funny.

Speaking of chicks, there were at least 2 "Steeler Babes".

The first was a chick with her own website, her in not much more than this or that jersey. The NFL made her take it down.

Then there was a poster with that name who was here for quite some time. All I remember about her was that they called her "pinky toe", and that's how I learned what that term meant because I'd never heard it before.

There was some ladies on here.....they were just as bad as the guys lol...

There was a very nice older lady here was great that passed away...I think she started all the game day threads

Tom Coryea is one of the original posters as well....Tom are you following the English Premier League Still ?

That's it....bengalzrule lol....dude was horrible.

My first user name was "Stlr4evr." I started with the old TSN board, and have been posting with SN since the TSN board ended. And I certainly remember Juiceman, Jr. ... as well as Coach, and PittRon, and Bengalzrulz.

Shitloop titstain, HOKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!

That would be CAH. Kick *** lady. I want to say she was from Uniontown, PA.......anyone? Her grandson took up the mantle and still starts a lot of the gameday threads now in her honor.

You are correct with everything you said. CAH came on the board one day, and said she was told she needed surgery. She went in, and that was the end. Shocker, and a very sad time.

I was on Steelerwatch about a month before the merger. Been here since then.

I've seen way more riff-raff come through here than ever came from the merger.

Yes, I was at Steeler Watch as was Lexx (wassup).

We came here as The New Dynamic ...as I recall ..but I think others here had a different name for us...lol..SC I couldn't even remember my handle at Steelerwatch thanks for the reminder..lol

I was with the Steelernation board in 2000, just out of the military and I didn't know what to do with all of my free time in a civilian environment and found Dave's Stiller board. I was going through some serious PTSD and Bi-polar issues and I cant even begin to imagine how bad my posts used to be. Juiceman and the rest of you come over and invaded our party and I'll be the first to admit that it though me for a loop. you all turned out to be great people though.

And now they make Supe a moderator.

I'm curious if anyone is left from that bygone era of the early 2000s.

BLEEDS is the only name I recognize.

That group originated from TSN's (The Sporting News) Steelers forum, which was shut down in '98 or so. Juice started his own board, which lasted a couple years, then merged with Steelernation. Those were interesting times as the two groups bumped heads.

Is there anyone else still around from that time, I wonder...

I started on that board and was around for the merger. Spike was only riff raff I remember, some things never change. :p
Over the years I fluctuated in amount of posts, sometimes frequently, some times not. Since birth of my son almost 7 years ago, very infrequently, and even less last 3 or 4 years.

He was over the top a ton, but I have to give credit where credit is due ... the guy wanted the Steelers to draft TE Jason Peters because the guy was an elite blocker.

Of course, Coach also insisted that Troy Polamalu would never be a worthwhile NFL player, let alone a future Hall-of-Famer.

Yes, because of all things Troy's head size. I have to admit I had never seen a player evaluated based on head size before (or since). Every time I see a game with Jason Peters, I do think of Coach though
