Folks Shefter is reporting the 4 year extension for $200 mil. GB FO blinked, and now Pandora‘s Box has been opened. Absolutely asinine on their part. Should have let him retire and let him cry while Love started.

He is 7-9 in the playoffs since beating us in the Super Bowl 12 years ago. Stupid move

What a great call… ravens sign that bum for 50 mil per and are division bums for a decade

Hopefully that means baker mayfield is worth 30 million plus… he won a playoff game after all lol
baker didnt get a new contract and I doubt he does. My bold prediction is the Browns will drat a QB and start him next year.

You talk about a team that can't find that franchise QB.

Somehow Rodgers was able to leverage himself into deciding if he wanted to play for the Packers.

Apparently he does, but at a lofty price tag.

One has to wonder if he would have played for less somewhere else, as he really hates the Packers front office.

It was obviously always all about the money for Rodgers, not winning. Maybe Rodgers (or someone else) can explain how him getting paid $50 million a year will help the Packers score more than 10 points in a playoff game.

With 153M guaranteed, they are going to be in cap hell.

I thought someone here said they (GB) was currently 20-ish million over the cap currently. If that is actually true,....... they've got some creative work to do.

I can't blame them for spending max cap but on a 38yr old QB..................Sheeeesh

Salute the nation

And Lamar Jackson is loving life today.

I thought this too and I hope like hell Action Jackson's contract is this PLUS a lot and for eternity.

With his mom reportedly doing the negotiating this is gonna be very interesting! Agents are like lawyers…..an evil necessity. Sorry to any lawyers on here but you’re unfortunately viewed that way by us little people 🤷🏻‍♂️

Why give up draft capital for someone who is essentially Mason Rudolph or Dwayne Haskins - an unproven quarterback with a college pedigree? We're better off drafting an offensive lineman or middle linebacker with that second.
Yep
