In a league designed for offense ya just don’t get much respect when only 20% of your drives result in more than 1 first down, can’t count on turnovers raining from the sky every week.
Is any game a trap game when you don't have a franchise under center? They better take that mindset into each and every game moving forward. That O will also have to be more productive sooner than later or there will be some fans bridge jumping without the bungee while L's stack up.
So here are the storylines for this game:
1. 1st game minus both Ben and Brady for these two teams in two decades
2. Tomlin Vs Belicheat
3. No Tj.. Can Reed fill in? Can Highsmith still be a beast in game 2 like he was game 1?
4. Will Mitch and the Offense be be preseason Good or game one lame
5. Harris and his banged up foot and the Steelers run game… will they limit him? Ride him? How much does warren play
6. The Pats Qb has a back, we often have a sack.. will he survive a sack on his back?
7. Pats Wr vs Our secondary… can we force turnovers again?
8. Who starts at C for the Steelers if Cole is a no go?
9. What passcatcher steals the Narrative this week? Claypool or Muuuth after a week of low key hype? DJ? Pickens after being underutilized game 1?
10. Gunners return to the Pats, showing off what they gave up on… ( or in the worse case, us trying to force the ball to him and causing bad plays)

The last game I attended at the stadium formerly known as Heinz Field was against the Pats when we won the game but lost it.

The line has moved to -2.5. Absolutely love the Steelers in this game as a home underdog. Take the points and enjoy.

ERNIE was forced into retirement as a part of the Bungle taping incident. Behind closed doors the owners raised such a stink that they gave the cheatriots an opportunity and chose Ernie to retire or be banned for life. Ernie didn't retire on his own as he was a sacrificial lamb so to speak.

As for billyboy, he can't rin film production / analyzation / incorporate it into play calling all by himself............. he is demising back to his pree-cheatriot days. I see him retiring soon but hope it is under the ERNIE guize of stink.

As for the cheatriots coming into the B'urgh, I see a defense getting the win with medium help from our offense. The "D" will do everything needed but the offense will wet the bed again and yet just do enough to get the win.
O'Canada will get just enough credit and the big question will yet go unanswered. Underutalized middle field, no screen pass, asking OL to do exactly what they can't do keeping his job safe once again from hot seat capabilities (he isn't going anywhere soon).

So here is my thought of a guy who might be utilized a lot that nobody expects this game… Connor Heyward… the kid had a good camp… can be used in a half dozen roles, and belicheat has no real film on him. He is the kind of guy who throws a loop into the pats gameplan…
That should be #1 on the list, for eternity.

Spike went berserk over the Chinese flu. Locked in Coolie's basement, still wearing three masks. He's gonna be like that Japanese soldier who finally came out of the jungle 28 years after the end of WWII. Coolie travels to celebrate his 100th birthday, forgets to lock the basement, and Spike finally crawls out in 2057, still masked, refusing to acknowledge that Covid is over.
The Cheats only managed 7 points against the Dolphins last week, so how in the hell are the Steelers 2.5 point dogs at home?
