Atlanta school eliminates morning Pledge of Allegiance

Students will be given the opportunity to say the pledge at another point during the school day, and the decision was made “in an effort to begin our day as a fully inclusive and connected community,” according to the release.

The release went on to say “Over the past couple of years it has become increasingly obvious that more and more of our community were choosing to not stand and/or recite the pledge.”

Here is the good part -

Students will continue to be asked to stand to participate in the school’s Wolf Pack Chant each morning, and “teachers and the K-5 leadership team will be working with students to create a school pledge that we can say together at morning meeting,” the release said.

The statement said “This pledge will focus on students’ civic responsibility to their school family, community, country and our global society.”

I wonder if this new pledge on responsibility to our global society will be mandatory.. In any event, my kid would be out of that indoctrination center immediately.

I agree that multiculturalism isn't bad. What has been lost is allegiance to the United States first. Basically, what America has become in a sense, is a bunch of tribes that look first at our differences rather than the one thing we have in common: That we are Americans. Political correctness and identity politics have created that. Everyone gets herded into their little group, labeled, and then get told what they should be upset about when outrage is drummed up on the news by reporting opinion over fact.

Pretty soon, no on can trust anyone that looks different than them because that is what we get told every day. And just like that, we are a nation divided by our differences rather than united by what we share.

I mean even if we get equal outcomes on the "bigger" groups - racial, economic, etc. they will find smaller and smaller groups to create conflict. They know conflict yields interest and votes.

True. It affects a lot of reasoning processes. In another thread some lib argued that as long as a tax doesn't force people to change their income, it's fair. In this argument there is no idea of fairness outside of the context of an outcome. Totally ****** up.

Now we have enclaves of people that absolutely hate the U.S. Mexicans in California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas want the U.S. to be North Mexico. You have murdering gangs of all stripes fighting each other. Notice they are divided on racial lines. There is no U.S. gang member. In prisons there are white, black, Asian and Latino gangs. Multiculturalism has failed in the U.S. and Europe. It won't end well.
