Back to the subject of climate science

No fukky fukky?

Fukky, fukky No. 10.
Sukky, sukky No. 1.

You two are racist !

After all the money and attention Obama threw at climate science, one would think the subject would be defined one way or the other....but the opposite seems to be true. We know now less than we thought we knew before and more about what we knew all along to be phony.

Obama weaponized NASA to participate in his war on climate non-believers and Islamophobia and after 8 years, has proven nothing climate wise but has nontheless imported thousands of Muslims with that cash
President Barack Obama will restart NASA’s mission to Mars after he effectively canceled the program eight years ago, according to an op-ed he wrote.

Obama’s op-ed calls for NASA to send humans to Mars by 2030, but Obama has a long history of slashing programs that would have sent America to Mars much sooner.

Experts blame Obama for shutting down NASA’s plans to send astronauts to Mars in favor of having the space agency fund global warming research and outreach programs.

Obama’s NASA budget shifted money from the exploration and robotics programs to its environmental sciences and “outreach” programs. Because of this focus, Obama’s budget cuts every part to NASA’s planetary science programs, technological development programs and many important future Mars missions managed to not save any money.

NASA’s budget now includes more than $2 billion for the agency’s Earth Science Mission Directorate, which covers global warming science. The money will be specifically allocated to improve climate modeling, weather prediction, and natural hazard mitigation. In comparison, NASA’s other functions, such as astrophysics and space technology, are only getting $781.5 million and $826.7 million, respectively, in the budget.

The Earth Science Mission Directorate’s goal is to help NASA “meet the challenges of climate and environmental change.” The organization is also responsible for global warming models proven to be inaccurate when checked against actual temperature observations.

Spending on the directorate has increased by 63 percent over the last eight years, making it the largest and fastest growing budget of any NASA science program. Over the same time period, the general NASA budget grew only by 10.6 percent—just enough to account for inflation.

I'll have to do a bunch more research before I can wrap my head around what "meet the challenges of climate and environmental change.” actually entails.

Mars is a pipe dream. A good thing that taxpayers didn't have to fund a 4-5yr multi-billion dollar deficit. The tech still isn't solid for getting someone there and back, intact. The record for an astronaut being in space is just over 1 year, and we're going to send a ship full of people out for 4-5 times that without any solid evidence that the human body can withstand it? It was a line item, and a huge one. Good thing we're not funding it.

As for global warming, it is trackable, and has to do with ocean temperature.

OK.. you idiots don't believe CO2 is more dangerous than ISIS, then how 'bout hydrofluorocarbons ? It's more officious sounding and those that don't believe will never be able to spell it.

Global deal reached to limit powerful greenhouse gases
http://bigstory.ap.org/article/5b16...-deal-reached-limit-powerful-greenhouse-gases

KIGALI, Rwanda (AP) — Nearly 200 nations have reached a deal, announced Saturday morning after all-night negotiations, to limit the use of greenhouse gases far more powerful than carbon dioxide in a major effort to fight climate change.

The talks on hydrofluorocarbons, or HFCs, were called the first test of global will since the historic Paris Agreement to cut carbon emissions was reached last year. HFCs are described as the world's fastest-growing climate pollutant and are used in air conditioners and refrigerators. Experts say cutting them is the fastest way to reduce global warming.

Have I said that I'm glad I'm too old to have to deal with this...yeh I think I have.

The agreement, unlike the broader Paris one, is legally binding. It caps and reduces the use of HFCs in a gradual process beginning by 2019 with action by developed countries including the United States, the world's second-worst polluter. More than 100 developing countries, including China, the world's top carbon emitter, will start taking action by 2024, when HFC consumption levels should peak.

OK...the link is up there, so lets cut to the chase here.

The U.N. says the next meeting in 2017 will determine how much of the billions of dollars needed to finance the reduction of HFCs will be provided by countries.

Environmental groups were already turning attention Saturday to other greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide.

"Acting on HFCs does not exempt us from acting on CO2 or other important greenhouse gases like methane. We emit considerably more carbon, and it lingers in the atmosphere for more than 500 years," Carol Werner, executive director of the Environmental and Energy Study Institute, said in a statement.

We are idiots, no doubt about it. If they can't push through massive global financial redistribution using CO2, then they will just add another evil chemical to target so the idiots will help finance the cause one way or another.

Them AC's and fridges were too cheap anyway, deal with it.

HFCs are less plentiful than carbon dioxide, but Kerry said last month that they currently emit as much pollution as 300 coal-fired power plants each year. That amount will rise significantly over the coming decades as air conditioning units and refrigerators reach hundreds of millions of new people.

What's next ?

Pretty soon we have to run out of evil stuff attacking mother earth. I mean, we started with light bulbs, transgressed thru fossil fuels, shut down drill rigs, threw water on the campfires, halted pipelines, embarrassed the poor cows half to death and now the AC industry has to stand on it's head over a bucket of water just so the UN can be in charge of the new 'Global' economy.

Today's toon dump

Bill Clinton's former vice president Al Gore was enlisted by Hillary Clinton to campaign for her election on Thursday. She's tasked Al to canvass the support of Millennial generation voters who are concerned about climate change. He's going basement-to-basement at their parents houses

Yesterday, Al Gore campaigned for Hillary Clinton at a Florida rally attended by 1,600 people. Unfortunately for Gore, a recount showed that it was only 1,300 people.

Hillary Clinton campaigned in Florida today with Al Gore. You're making Al Gore go back to Florida? That's so cruel. That's like making Joe Frazier go back to Manila.

Back to serious stuff here....no, seriously ya just can't make stuff up any better than these numb nuts can.

Warming Alarmists Redefine What A Hurricane Is So We'll Have More Of Them
http://www.investors.com/politics/c...hat-a-hurricane-is-so-well-have-more-of-them/

Whether they admit it out loud or not, many global warming alarmists want more destructive weather events to validate their assumptions. But what happens when they can't get their "dirty weather," as Al Gore calls it? Then they'll just have define down what a disaster is.

"We need a new hurricane intensity metric," he said, "that more accurately reflects a storm's potential to cause death and destruction well inland."

"This is all part of a financial scheme," says Morano. "If every bad weather event can have new metrics that make them unprecedented and a record, then they will declare it fossil-fuel-'poisoned weather.' Warmist attorneys general will use any storm now to get money from energy companies claiming that their company made tornadoes, hurricanes, floods and droughts worse. They will use any bad weather event to shake down energy companies. That is why the extreme storm meme is so important."

Funny how that works. Every action taken to "cure" climate change" somehow is resolved with money.

No, the problem isn't the science. The problem is such research is an uncomfortable impediment of the global warming complex's unholy alliance of green interest groups, clueless movie stars, bought-and-paid-for scientists, big government politicians, and even some major corporations that see new global warming regulations as an easy way to crush their smaller competitors.

With global governments spending billions of dollars a year on climate change, almost all of it on those who believe the global warming dogma, there's too much at stake to allow a heretic to question the orthodoxy.
