if you make a banana split then yeah.. D can pretty much snif that.
if you run a vertical - with a crossing from the bunch while you sneak a TE in behind that vertical, then you can really clear the D out from that area for a nice gain.

If he had a receiver on a short middle route that play would have been huge. They vacated the middle and we had no one there. We do nothing to take advantage of the defense.
